MARY DID YOU KNOW

Think of that very young special Jewish girl who had been told by an angel that she was the virgin whom Isaiah had prophesied would deliver the Messiah to the world. It makes you wonder if she had any idea of what was to come and how her little son would change the world forever! Perhaps these words will touch your hearts as they do ours;

Mary did you know that your baby boy will one day walk on water?

Mary did you know that your baby boy will save our sons and daughters?

Did you know that your baby boy has come to make you new?

This child that you delivered will soon deliver you.

Mary did you know that your baby boy will give sight to a blind man?

Mary did you know that your baby boy will calm a storm with His hand?

Did you know that your baby boy has walked where angels trod?

When you kiss your little baby, you’ve kissed the face of God.

The blind will see

The deaf will hear

The dead will live again

The lame will leap

The dumb will speak

The praises of the Lamb

Mary did you know that your baby boy is Lord of all creation?

Mary did you know that your baby boy will one day rule the nations?

Did you know that your baby boy is Heaven’s perfect lamb?

This sleeping child you’re holding is The Great I Am.

As you gather your loved ones around you and celebrate the birth of a little baby, remind those you hold dear that the important thing to remember is who He became and what He did for all of us because of His great love for us.

Rejoice! As the angel told the shepherds: “I bring you tidings of great joy which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day...a Savior who is Christ the Lord!”

May your days ahead be filled with great joy, love and peace.
