11/01/2016 -- Italy Earthquake watch information -- What to watch for, and why to watch for it

Just as expected, a M4.9 earthquake struck central Italy , followed by swarms of M3.0 and M2.0 across Greece and Turkey. Additionally low end M4.0 earthquakes struck both Turkey, and Greece , followed by Central Italy (all in the M4.2 range).

A new series of M4.2 and M3.3 earthquakes struck back to back from each other. First seeing a M4.2 near Turkey, followed by a M4.2 in Central Italy. Then it happened again. A M3.3 struck East of Greece, followed by a M3.3 in Central Italy yet again.

Watch for an increase in the swarm magnitudes by tomorrow night (October 2, 2016). Magnitudes could increase to upper M4.0 lower M5.0 as things stand right now.

M5.0 range earthquakes are large enough to cause damage to already weakened structures, and cause damage to interiors of houses , items on shelves etc.. and possibly cause injuries.

Be on watch, and by tomorrow we will have another 72 hour (3 day outlook) prepared for the public.

So far, all the areas in Italy, Greece, and Turkey have moved as expected after the large M6.6 (M7.1) earthquake struck.

Summed up: Expect the swarm to increase by tomorrow night, going from M2.0, M3.0, M4.0 today up to M3.0 and M4.0+ within 48 hours.

We may be looking at another noteworthy round of earthquakes in Italy by this coming weekend due to new larger earthquakes in the Pacific happening today (November 1, 2016). Keep watch, and don't let your guard down yet. Things are still moving fairly heavy, and a new round of pressure is generating now in the Pacific.

Proprio come previsto, un terremoto di M4.9 ha colpito l'Italia centrale, seguita da sciami di M3,0 e M2.0 in tutta la Grecia e la Turchia. Inoltre fascia bassa terremoti M4.0 colpito sia la Turchia e la Grecia, seguita da Italia centrale (tutte nella gamma M4.2).
