The Common Sense Show
expat 1
One prominent talk show host is telling his listeners to get out of the country because the Denver Post is reporting that there are 200,000 Russian troops in America. I have previously reported on government documents which demonstrate that FEMA reached a bilateral agreement with Russia to bring in 15,000 Russian troops. I also believe that there are Russian sleeper cells located throughout America based upon reports from Russian defectors and eyewitnesses such as Dr. Susan Helman of Gatlinburg, TN. But to leave the country based on the erroneous reports of a talk show host would be a gross mistake.
The Russian media immediately interviewed me after I reported on this story in an attempt to discredit me and cover their true intentions. However, there is no report from the Denver Post claiming 200,000 Russian troops are in America. There will be no direct military invasion of the United States until some other things occur such as a series of false flag attacks, declaration of martial law and the use of foreign troops (e.g. Russia, China) to quell any civil disturbances following the false flag attacks or following a currency collapse. Following the complete subjugation of the American people, there could be an invasion of the US by Russia and China if WWIII were to break out. But leaving the country for the hysterical claim of 200,000 Russians ready to invade in a moments notice, would prove to be a fool’s errand.
Are there other reasons to leave the United States and take up residency abroad? There does appear to be several valid reasons to do so. For the time being, put aside your English/Russian dictionary as we process the reasons for possibly wanting to expatriate.
Many Have Already Left
An expatriate, who has left America for the greener pastures of Germany, has written to me over a dozen times telling me to get out of America while I still can. I freely admit, that on the balance sheet, the reasons to leave outweigh the reasons to stay. And the reasons to move our children away from the growing tyranny in this country are even more numerous. However, our enemy calls themselves the New World Order for a reason. It may be possible to move to a place like Norway and get some temporary relief, but in reality, you would only be staying one step ahead of the burning bridge.
Last year over a 155,000 Americans expatriated to foreign countries, mostly for economic reasons. I have bad news for these people. You expats may have temporarily escaped high taxes and over regulation from the federal government, however, when, and not if, the dollar collapses, all foreign currencies will collapse as well and you will be trapped in a foreign land. I do, however, agree that there are some valid reasons, at least on the surface for leaving.
Do It For The Kids
At this point in time, about half of all recent college graduates are working at jobs that do not even require a college degree. The number of Americans in the 16 to 29 year old age bracket with a job declined by 18 percent between 2000 and 2010. Incomes for U.S. households led by someone between the ages of 25 and 34 have fallen by about 12 percent after you adjust for inflation since the year 2000. In the United States today, 317,000 waiters and waitresses have college degrees. One poll discovered that 29 percent of all Americans in the 25 to 34 year old age bracket are still living with their parents. Overall, approximately 25 million American adults are living with their parents according to Time Magazine.
America is no longer the land of opportunity as the United States is not even in the top ten. In fact, the United States only ranks 20th in terms of overall gross pay! There are very sound economic reasons to look at when deciding on whether you should leave the country. Young adults who are degreed and/or skilled in fields such as engineering or information technology skills, are really wasting their time by working in the United States. Eight of the world’s ten highest-paying countries for information technology (IT) managers are in Western Europe, according to a new survey by Mercer Human Resource Consulting. The survey found that Swiss managers are paid the most, followed by those in Germany and Denmark. In fact, IT management is another field where U.S. workers fail to crack the top ten in income, the United States ranks 14th in IT management compensation. Even debt ridden Spain, Italy and Greece pay their IT managers more than what Americans earn on average.
Employment
If there is a valid reason for leaving the country, the unemployment rates would seem to be a compelling reason. Unfortunately, the public does not know what the true unemployment rate is in America because the Department of Labor plays games with the numbers. For example, if you hold a real estate license, and even if you have never sold any property, you are considered to be employed by the Federal government. If your unemployment insurance expires, it is assumed that you have found employment, even if you have not. This is referred to as the discouraged worker category.
The “Alternate Unemployment Rate” more accurately reflects the current unemployment reporting methodology adjusted for SGS-estimated long-term discouraged workers, who were eliminated from official existence by the Federal government back in 1994. That estimate is added to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) estimate of U-6 unemployment, which includes the previously short-term discouraged workers.
The “U-3″ unemployment rate is the monthly headline number. The U-6 unemployment rate is the BLS broadest unemployment measure, “including short-term discouraged and other marginally-attached workers as well as those forced to work part-time because they cannot find full-time employment” as this group would be categorized as the underemployed. When all figures are combined, the Shadow Stats calculations are staggering as the unemployment and underemployment rate is approaching 24%!

However, I strongly feel that you are only delaying the inevitable by leaving. We are not just going to see an American economic collapse, we are going to witness a global collapse.
America’s Economy Could Soon Collapse
Employment issues aside, America only has to look at three economic indicators to know that we are in a lot of trouble. The budget deficit is $17 trillion dollars, unfunded (partially or otherwise) mandated social programs constitutes another $222 trillion dollars and the credit swap derivatives total between $1 quadrillion dollars to $1.5 quadrillion dollars.
When we look at Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid and all the government programs that we all take for granted, the price tag is a whopping $222 trillion dollars. These numbers are going to be exacerbated and grow exponentially because the bulk of the baby boomers are entering retirement age. Even if we took every single penny that the federal government takes in and devote it to paying off these social programs, it would take 111 years to pay off this debt.
In the United States, credit swap derivatives created national debt totals of over one quadrillion dollars. That is one thousand trillion dollars! The entire GDP of the planet is estimated at $66 trillion dollars. And somehow, in the infinite wisdom of Congress in 2008, we falsely and naively believed that a $750 billion transfer of wealth (i.e., Bailout #1) was magically going to save the economy and the collective futures of the American middle class. In short, the debt created by futures speculation is approximately 16 times greater than the sum total of the entire wealth on the planet! And we think we are going to climb out of this? We could fund 1,000 bailouts and the eventual outcome will be the same, slavery by debt.
In no civilized country in the world do the banks have the right to steal money from citizen depositors. However, in America, this is already being accomplished as ex-Goldman Sachs CEO and ex-senator and ex-governor, Jon “the Don” Corzine, stole 1.2 billion dollars from secured deposits from MF Global, lied to congress about his actions and today is enjoying the fruits of his thievery. Let’s not forget that the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals who just ruled that banks can steal the money of its depositors and it is legal! This would have been a SHTF moment in every other Western country, but Americans are taking this grand theft on their backsides, sipping a beer and bemoaning the performance of their favorite NFL team on this Super Bowl Sunday.
I have chronicled in a recent article that JP Morgan Chase and HSBC are making it almost impossible to wire money out of their banks into overseas accounts. Further, the IMF has announced plans to tax all bank accounts to the tune of 10% and that is just for starters. Can America be far behind? And the rich are getting richer at the expense of the middle class.
Over 50 percent of all stocks and bonds are owned by just 1 percent of the U.S. population. Additionally, Treasury Secretary Lew is borrowing against select Federal retirement accounts. And add to these grim statistics, we have only the 51st longest life span despite spending the most money. Our kids attend schools which are ranked last in the modern world. Searching for better opportunities does make sense in light of these statistics.
Civil Liberties
Well, we may not have our health and we may not have our wealth, but at least we have our freedoms, don’t we? Nothing could be further from the truth. Our local police forces are being federalized and incidences of unwarranted police brutality are skyrocketing.
According to the Economist Intelligence Unit Democracy Index 2011, the United States is tied with Romania for forty-ninth in civil liberties. Several countries such as Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, and Norway are tied for first.
With the Patriot Acts, the NDAA and several other draconian pieces of legislation designed to protect us from the boogey men we call terrorists, we have lost Habeas Corpus, we are losing our free speech rights to the United Nations and every form of due process that we once cherished under our Constitution. And if you don’t like the unfolding criminal enterprise system which suddenly appeared before our collective eyes, the bankers have rolled out a technocratic police state which would make Stalin and Hitler envious. Both the police state and impending martial law are bolstered by the fact that the Department of Homeland Security has purchased 2.2 billion rounds of high tech bullets engraved with the names of citizens who dare to oppose this tyranny! The Constitution has been destroyed and thrown on to the garbage pile of history. And only in tinhorn dictatorships and communist countries do we find this kind of criminal enterprise flourishing!
Where the Rubber Meets the Road
I have personally known a FEMA retiree and his family who have left their home for a self-contained community with like-minded alphabet soup agency personnel in order to protect their families from what is coming. Additionally, Doug Hagmann’s DHS insider contact painted a very grim picture of the deadly martial law crackdown that is coming. Same stories, different venues. If you believe that a false flag attack is in our near future. And if you believe that brutal martial law, complete with gun confiscation, was going to take place and if you think that FEMA camps and mass executions of political undesirables was going to occur, then these would be some very valid reasons for leaving this country.
In a later article, I will expand on these thoughts as well as examine some very compelling reasons for staying in the United States through thick and thin.
Han Solo February 2, 2014 at 6:24 am
Of note, I had heard the IMF global theft story was a cover. There were many gold futures contracts up for delivery so they transferred all the money to JP Morgan. They then said the money had been stolen and declared bankruptcy so they wouldn’t have to deliver any physical gold; because essentially there is none. They are desperate to keep gold smashed down or their managed fraudulent system will collapse. Quite frankly, it is going to have to collapse.
EDITOR’S NOTE: I AGREE WITH YOUR LAST STATEMENT. HOWEVER, THERE WERE TOO MANY VICTIMS TO NOT LEND SOME LEGITIMACY TO THE IMF STORY. WE COULD, HOWEVER, DEBATE, HOW SEVERE THE CRISIS IS.

Amen! I left the once great USA in 2012 and it was the best move I ever made. You only appreciate freedom when you have actually experienced it. I no longer have to be worried about being groped by some TSA pedophile, jailed for collecting rainwater, harassed for using organic milk, or having a lemonade stand without a license (I know someone here that actually operated a restaurant without a license for two years). On New Year’s here you can see children in the street setting off firecrackers on the public walkways completely unsupervised. In the county where I used to live, an adult could not even purchase fireworks, let alone use them. I will agree trouble is coming everywhere; but God’s judgement will be different on different nations. I am in a country that is rapidly growing but does not have much of a middle class and the poor do not rely on government welfare. If the global economy shut down, mostly the emerging middle class and elite would take a hit, but I doubt you would see mass riots in the street because people’s EBT cards do not work. The government here has not been building FEMA camps to exterminate its people, nor does it have the high technology resources for doing it with the precision of the USA. I have debates with the expat community down with regards to whether it was the right thing to move down here given the New World Order will eventually be everywhere. At least it will take a lot more time to get down here, and will probably not be as brutal a putdown of the civilian population as the USA (to which most people agree). I also do believe God will set up sanctuaries around the world to preserve the remnant (see Revelation 12 as well as the promise to the church of Philadelphia earlier in the book), and the country I am at now has many areas that could fit the bill. If you believe the USA is Mystery Babylon, as I did, I took the Lord’s admonishment seriously to leave, even though it was a difficult decision. You should ultimately pray about it. I was prepared to go down with the ship, but God convicted me that for me to stay knowing what I know was the equivalent to suicide, which He does not condone. Sure He can protect me, but only if I am obedient. Mary and Joseph had to flee to Egypt, Moses had to flee to Midian, most of the Christians in Jerusalem were driven out to the Gentile nations, and even David at one point had to flee to live with the Phillistines (talk about irony…). It is not as difficult as you think to move. Poor Mexicans and migrant workers who have less resources than the average American move every day to the USA. But people in the USA say that they cannot afford to leave, even though they would be surprised how much cash they could raise by selling all their “stuff.” But people do not want to sell their stuff, or have their quality of living suffer (even though it actually will go up, when you consider what is coming to America). Like Lot’s wife, they do not want to flee. Do not get me wrong, God is probably directing many people to stay (like Jeremiah stayed in Jerusalem), but there are also many He is probably prompting to leave that are unwilling to listen to the Spirit because of the flesh (even patriotism can be driven by pride; if God is against this nation, it will not stand and His will trumps our desires). About two months after I left, I know someone who also left on a shoestring budget. I think the thing that finally pushed her over were her children, who she did not want to see drafted in World War III, and wanted them to have a chance of the future. It is difficult to imagine how horrible things will be. Americans have not lived in war zones. Many people who think they can just handle it, will not be able to.

The reality of all this just hasn’t set in yet. Wait until people can’t withdraw funds from their bank accounts, inflation triples the cost of food or worse the shelves are cleaned out. You’ll see a completely different picture. It just hasn’t got bad enough yet.

As Mr. Hodges has pointed out, the unemployment rate, counting the long term unemployed, is about 24%. But if we count the massive numbers of people on welfare, and the able-bodied parasites on SSI and Social Security Disability, people who could and should be working and supporting themselves, the figures are much higher. For years I worked as a claims representative and eligibility worker, and the abuse of the system, aided and abetted by leftist hearing judges, is incredible. Then, even if we assume that the government work force, already bloated even before the Obaminable Hussein became King, was somehow normal, if we count the huge numbers of “workers” added in the last few years, all of them not only not producing wealth, but actively sabotaging the economy, the real unemployment rate is clearly far over 30%, possibly over 40%. We are in a depression far worse than the Great Depression; it is just temporarily hidden by fiat money and borrowed money.
As for taxes, add up federal and state income taxes, property taxes (you do not own your home if you pay what amounts to rent to the government) and sales taxes. Then consider the hidden taxes embedded in the price of everything we buy: we pay all corporate income taxes, and the sales taxes, energy taxes, and property taxes of farmers, truckers, supermarkets, etc. The average American is paying at least thirty five to forty percent of his income in taxes, probably more…it’s just disguised so that most people are unaware of it.
And here is the real kicker. Putin is a ruthless strong man, but not a true NWO fascist like Hussein. In Russia, people are free to home school their children; the sexual perversion agenda is not forced on the people; Christians are not persecuted; and self sufficiency (growing your own vegetables, for example) is actually encouraged. Russians have too low a birth rate to replace their population…perhaps Americans should move there.
David February 2, 2014 at 7:11 am
Is it time to leave America? Exactly where in the world would 320 Million people emigrate to? It is difficult for the average person to leave and take their possessions with them. In the overall scheme of things the amount of people leaving is miniscule. The moment there is a mad dash for the gates and cash transfers to foreign banks on even a small scale the government will simply institute capital controls. So if people are able to leave they will do so empty handed. I would be surprised if more than half a million people have the wherewithal to leave. But again, where are you going to go – South America? Argentina and other countries are imploding. Chile is the “paradise du jour” with Galt’s Gulch and all that. But there is limited (very, I’ve checked) availability. Most of these utopian communities popping up in other countries require proof of a lot of assets in order to join. And just like Americans are concerned about immigration, other countries aren’t going to stand idly by and accept an influx of people who take jobs and resources away from their own citizens. Bottom line: most people aren’t going anywhere. It is better to focus on how to live your life where you are presently.
Don Was February 2, 2014 at 7:20 am
And don’t forget, The U.S. Government and it’s corrupt agencies are making it increasingly hard to expatriate. If you “owe” the corrupt thieves in the IRS any amount of money, for example, they can block your application for a passport (if you already do not have one) the DHS is working on an “Electronic Fence” to keep Americans IN. Rather than keep Illegal Aliens OUT. I agree with Dave when he says in so many words, that there is no where to run to.
People fail to understand that The Psychopaths who are destroying the United States and every other nation on the planet, CANNOT be reasoned with, Cannot be appeased, Mercy or Compassion are “alien concepts” to Them. “They” Are 100% self-interested, and totally Sadistic. The only cure for such demonic individuals is their destruction, not imprisonment, not exile, they are too evil and dangerous to be allowed anything other than liquidation.

let’s not forget the build-up of middle eastern troops in the high desert military bases. these troops too have their own infrastructure (tanks, weapons, command structures, etc…) all under the guise of “training”.
their numbers too are increasing!!

You said, “However, I strongly feel that you are only delaying the inevitable by leaving. We are not just going to see an American economic collapse, we are going to witness a global collapse”.
I really appreciate your insightful articles, buy think you have a blind spot when it comes to leaving. The idea that there is no escape of the inevitable seems more like a statist view.
I left 4 years ago for South America. I don’t normally hang out with Gringos, but have developed friendships with local people. If my income gets cut off, I have places to go where I don’t have to pay rent and don’t need heating or cooling year around. If I’m hungry, I can go outside and pick some fruit, etc. It is generally tranquil here. I lost about 70 pounds of weight here and no longer have all the toxins in my body. I have let go of a lot and it is like I have a new (or second) life now.

BDIY the Baltic Dry Index. This is a measure of dry goods and mostly raw materials being shipped. When this index tanks it means no one is ordering, things aren’t being manufactured, and sales are declining. This will drop before the stock market and maybe before the collapse of the dollar. It might even trigger it. As far as Europe, I believe you’re right just staying a step ahead of the game, 95% of the people are targeted for extinction, it doesn’t matter where you live.

The U.S. will not go down, alone. When the global economy collapses, and it will if the U.S. economy tanks out as many believe, I don’t think it would be prudent to be the American visitor in a foreign country. Even if it is an English speaking country, you are still that weird person who doesn’t quite speak right, doesn’t understand all the nuances of the culture, has no familial ties, and, hey, isn’t that guy from that nation that just screwed everything up?

Hi Dave,
As usual a great article. I had planned to leave the U.S. after I left NSA and the State Department but God had other plans for me. I Had already been granted a 20,000 hectare concession by the Ecuadorian government was all set to leave when God told me I could not leave until such time as He showed me. That was 25 years ago. I guess I am just too hardheaded to quit this country. I love this country it is just the government I despise. Here are some of my reason: http://codgerville.wordpress.com/2014/01/31/its-2014-what-are-you-willing-to-die-for/
Some of my old foreign contacts have invited me to move to their countries (Africa and Mid-Eastern nations) but like you say, what is about to happen is GLOBAL. Look at the countries that are already teetering on collapse: Hungary, Poland, Venezuela, Argentina, the Ukraine has already collapsed and many others. We can’t hide from this one. I’ll stick it out here and I have a feeling you will too.
Good luck and God bless you and yours in 2014.

This article presents an interesting conundrum. It seems that by leaving CONUS you would be only one step ahead of NWO pursuers who have perfected tracking/monitoring techniques. The alternative is staying put and preparing or having a bug-out location which would also be easily monitored with contemporary technologies.(some of which are not publicly known) This devious inhumane World Order has only one defense in my eyes and that is through Scripture and Faith in our Savior no matter where you are. We are about to go through the Test of our lives and only those who have “studied” will know the answers. Our salvation will not be in this world it will be in the next. Seek the truth.Know Jesus,Know Peace,No Jesus,No Peace http://rcg.org/books/tshtbl.html Ezekiel 34:24-26
King James Version (KJV)
24 And I the Lord will be their God, and my servant David a prince among them; I the Lord have spoken it.
25 And I will make with them a covenant of peace, and will cause the evil beasts to cease out of the land: and they shall dwell safely in the wilderness, and sleep in the woods.
26 And I will make them and the places round about my hill a blessing; and I will cause the shower to come down in his season; there shall be showers of blessing. Revelation 12:6 Mid-Tribulations
And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.

And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.

When things get bad on a global scale, the title ‘foreigner’ would not be something I’d want associated with my name. I understand why the Jews were slaughtered by Hitler. Home is all you know. Will another country take you in or throw you back. I’ll stay here, prepare as best I can and warn others. There is honor on both sides of that fence.

TPTB are probably fine with emigration – especially if they get a pound of flesh on your way out. After all, why would they want a bunch of aware, irate, people of means hanging around and rabble-rousing the proles into a frenzy? Nope, you play right into their agenda if you bail…

We are in the end of times and everything recorded in the Word of Jah WILL be fulfilled. We are not to fear, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in our Almighty Father who will never abdicate His Throne. If we do not keep Him enthroned in our hearts, then we have something to fear and be worried about was the enemy is trying to do. He IS ALREADY defeated and we are to ENFORCE that defeat.
He fed the children of Israel during their trek through the wilderness. Their clothes did not wear out for 40 years and there was NOT ONE feeble among them. Only those who did not believe in the promise He had given them to enter the ‘promised land’ failed to enter in.
We are in the wilderness, making our trek to the promised land He has designated for us. We will overcome by the blood of Jahshuwah, the word of our testimony(do we believe?) and not loving our life unto its death.
We are to fight the good fight of faith with the sword of the Spirit and our praises to the King of Kings. The praises of Jah’s people will scatter the enemy.
Step into the authority that has been given us in the Name of Jahshuwah and stand firm in the power of His might. Victory is ours!! It has already been won at the cross. Look up!! Our redemption is drawing nigh!!
