Economic Misery vs. Personal Misery
There are two kinds of misery which has permeated our nation, namely, economic misery and personal misery. The focus of this article is on the latter type of misery. Without question, America has become the most miserable nation on the planet.
Before we analyze the personal misery indicators, I want to briefly review the economic misery of the United States. Many of us know the statistics which comprise the misery index. We have 24% unemployment/underemployment as we sail past the Great Depression numbers. We have more people on welfare and than we have full time workers. The banks are on the verge of collapse. As the banks try and stay one step ahead of the burning bridge, the bankers are attempting to steal everything that they can get their hands on. The government is also posturing to steal 401K’s and our pension funds as they have already begun to “borrow” against select Federal retirement accounts. We live in a time when Obama is seemingly trying to provoke Americans into the streets as an excuse to unleash its foreign assets (e.g. Russian troops) in a martial law crackdown. DHS has armed itself to the teeth against the American people. Obamacare will prove to be the death knell for the American economy. Cap and trade will bury small businesses. Everywhere you look, we see examples of the erosion of civil liberties and individual prosperity.
How miserable are we? These statistics do not tell the entire story. There are many nations on the planet who are happier than the United States and they have much poorer economic indicators. As an old country song goes, America has been looking for happiness in all the wrong places.
Personal Indicators
Americans have not adapted to our changing status and are paying a steep emotional price for our slide into tyranny while on our way to becoming a third world country. Americans are increasingly a miserable people. We are most certainly one of the most stressed out people on the planet.
According to a presentation offered at the IFPE Congress in Vienna, Austria on April 18, 2009, on the results of World Health Organization’s World Mental Health Survey, 19% of studied Americans experienced a clinical anxiety disorder in the previous twelve-month period, which pushes the United States into a ranking of first place in this category.
What do Americans have to be so anxious about? At least part of the answer which explains why Americans have such a high degree of clinical anxiety, is contained in the following paragraphs as it is undeniably stressful living in America under the present set of conditions. We Americans are a miserable people who are dumbed down, drugged out, persecuted, fluoridated, chemtrailed, poisoned by consuming the GMO food supply, breathing radiated air thanks to Fukushima and are propagandized by a corporate controlled media who constantly reminds us about how happy we should be because we live in the land of freedom and opportunity.
The truth is quite the opposite of what the mainstream media tells us. We live in a hellish 1984 nightmare where our every move is tracked by the NSA. Every word we speak is under scrutiny. We have no privacy and it has become very clear that the government is no longer of the people, by the people and for the people. The people are no longer the sovereign, the bankers who have hijacked our government are the sovereign and are in near total control of our government. As a result, we are a besieged people. In short, we are an occupied nation with a high degree of misery.
Loss of Personal Liberties
According to the Economist Intelligence Unit Democracy Index 2011, the United States is tied with Romania for forty-ninth in civil liberties. Several countries such as Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, and Norway are tied for first.
No More Freedom of the Press
One would think that the First Amendment to the Constitution would protect the freedom of the press. There was a recent time when the United States was previously ranked 20th in the freedom of the press, but the US has fallen 27 places to the 49th place. This is to be expected when five corporations own 98% of the media.
Low Pay, Unhealthy and Raising Hopeless Kids
Americans no longer live in the highest salary paying country, the United States only ranks 20th in terms of overall gross pay! The United States ranks 51st in the world in life expectancy. In the period from 1968 to 2008, the suicide rate in America rose 308% for people aged 15 to 24. It is clear that our children do not want to live in the New World Order.
A Defeated Nation
If I hear that we are so lucky to be Americans one more time, I think I am going to become nauseated. In the top 20 happiest nations in the world, only Mexico (5%) has more of its population listed as “suffering” than does the United States (3%).
Homicide Rates
Our homicide rates are disgraceful and they also speak to the pervasive discontent in the United States.
Are these numbers the sign of a happy people?
Divorce Rates and the Erosion of Family Stability
The stability of the family, in part, is determined by the success rate of marriages. A high divorce rate is correlated with an increase in poverty, higher levels of depression and more juvenile delinquency. How is the US doing in family stability as measured by the divorce rate? According to the statistics, Sweden is the only nation experiencing a higher divorce rate than the United States.
Prison Rates
One of the hallmark statistics which indicates how people are adjusting to their surroundings and adapting to life is a nation’s prison rate. America’s prison rate is second to none. We have five percent of the world’s population and yet, we have 25% of the world’s prison population.
These rates indicate that our society is not coming close to meeting the needs of significant numbers in American society.
Drug Abuse Rates
Certainly, no analysis of a nation’s misery index would be complete without taking a look at the drug abuse rates which speaks to the level of personal satisfaction that people are experiencing. Among our cohorts, in the G-7 nations, America is by far and away number one and it is not close.
The numbers do not lie, we are escaping from ourselves.
Conclusion
The American people have given all they have left to give. We are a defeated nation as the central bankers have destroyed the will of the majority to fight for their lives.
There are spiritual solutions which might serve to head off the coming holocaust, but very few people want to hear about that. Instead, too many of us keep looking for that magic bullet physical solution and it does not exist.
There is a price to pay for a nation that has aborted over 50 million babies, practices mass murder in countries that we illegally occupy and, of course, our nation has turned its back on God in such a dramatic fashion.
The facts are clear, America is not only a nation in an undeniable state of free fall, but so are the people. Of course, the establishment media will never give you the entire picture on how bleak of a future most of our children are looking at. For when we ask the question as to what nation is the most miserable, among the modern nations of the world, the undeniable answer to that question is the United States.
Perhaps we should look at alternative spiritual solutions to our issues. What do we have to lose,?Our old ways are proving to be counterproductive to our well-being.
