Rome’s Ongoing Inquisition: What You Must Know

Force is a principle of Satan’s kingdom. It has been and will continue to be used by the forces of darkness just as long as there are any to stand for truth and righteousness in opposition to error.

Yahuwah appeals to the intellect. “Come now, and let us reason together,” is His gracious invitation recorded in Isaiah 1:18. Truth has such strength that a clear and open study is all that is needed to convince the honest minded.

Error, on the other hand, is weak. When flattery, bribery and threats fail, force is the last resort used to compel the conscience and bend the will. History contains the dark record of evil perpetrated by man on his fellow man – all in the name of religion. Only in Heaven will it be revealed the extent of the agony and suffering experienced by millions who stayed faithful to their Saviour.

The use of force to compel the conscience is not merely a relic of history, a dusty footnote to a dark, barbaric time. Rather it remains a vital principle of an unrepentant Roman Catholic Church. The “right” to force a person to sin against his conscience in order to save his own life is a doctrine that is still held by this beast power.

The following is a partial listing of the various methods used by papists to compel the conscience. While it is a sickening revelation of what man can do under the influence of demons, it is nonetheless a triumphant testimony to the power of Yahuwah to preserve His own. Those living in the last days of earth’s history should be aware that the principle of force continues to be a cherished doctrine of the Roman Catholic Church for time has not changed Catholicism. Nor has time lessened the power of Yahuwah to safeguard that which has been committed to His care.

---------------------
What is the Inquisition?

The term refers to an institution of the Roman Catholic Church which was originally entitled “The Supreme Sacred Congregation of the Roman and Universal Inquisition.” This “Holy Office,” as it came to be known, was specially created to combat any teaching that contradicted Roman Catholic doctrine, especially any teaching that contradicted the belief that the Catholic sacraments, are necessary for achieving salvation and conferring grace.

When was the Inquisition started?

It was started in 1203 A.D.

What Pope started it?

Pope Innocent III.

How many were killed by the Office of the Inquisition since it was started in 1203 A.D.?

It is estimated that at least 50 million men, women and children were mercilessly killed by this church office, with some estimates as high as 100 million. The Inquisition slaughtered Jews, Protestants, indigenous peoples and even other Roman Catholics. From the high born prince, to the humble peasant, none were exempt from its brutal reach.

Who authorized the use of torture and for what purpose was torture used in the Inquisition?

Pope Innocent IV

The credit for institutionalizing torture as part of the Inquisition goes to Pope Innocent IV, who issued the papal bull Ad extirpanda, which authorized the use of torture by the Inquisition for the purpose of obtaining confessions from “heretics.”

Who were the first victims of the Inquisition and why?

Albigenses

The first victims of the dreadful Inquisition were the Albigenses, who lived in southern France. They were targeted because they held the Biblical belief that salvation is through Yahushua alone and not by the rendering of sacraments, or salvation by works.

How many popes upheld the Inquisition after it was created by Pope Innocent III?

There were 75 popes in a row who enforced the Inquisition vigorously, with each one adding new devises of torture. It is important to note that not a single one of these successive popes condemned or disapproved of the use of torture to extract confessions.

Which Inquisition was the most brutal?

The most brutal was the Spanish Inquisition. The Spanish Inquisition was established by the Roman Catholic queen, Isabella. Because anyone could be anonymously denounced as a heretic and, if found guilty, have their possessions confiscated, she used it as a means of funding her explorations to the New World.

What is the foundational principle of the Inquisition?

The principle that underscores the Inquisition is the faulty belief that the pope has sovereign power over life and death. Thus, whoever disobeys the pope should be tried and tortured to death if he does not recant.

What were some of the more gruesome tools of torture used in the Inquisition?

We will highlight some of the most gruesome tools of torture below. But before we do so...

WLC would like to warn the reader that the images for these tools of torture which were employed by Rome are most graphic.
Thus, reader’s discretion is highly advised.

The Rack

the rack

“The rack is commonly considered the most painful form of medieval torture. It was a wooden frame usually above ground with two ropes fixed to the bottom and another two tied to a handle in the top.

“The torturer turned the handle causing the ropes to pull the victim's arms. Eventually, the victim's bones were dislocated with a loud crack. If the torturer kept turning the handles, some of the limbs were torn apart, usually the arms.

“This method was mostly used to extract confessions, as not confessing meant that the torturer could stretch more. Sometimes, torturers forced their victim to watch other people be tortured with this device to implant psychological fear.

“Sometime this method was limited to dislocating a few bones, but the torturer often went too far and rendered the legs or arms (sometimes both) useless. In the late Middle Ages, some new variants of this instrument appeared. They often had spikes that penetrated the victim's back - as the limbs were pulled apart, so was his spinal cord increasing not only the physical pain, but the psychological one of being handicapped at best, too.”1

Burning at the stake

Burning at the stake

“If the fire was big enough, death occurred first by asphyxia rather than damage done by the flames. However, this was a known fact and the victims were usually burned in a smaller fire so they would "suffer until the end". When the fire was small, death occurred because of loss of blood or a heatstroke which could take even hours.”2

The Wheel

The Wheel

“In the wheel torture method, a victim's arms and legs were tied to the spokes of a wooden wheel that was slowly revolved. An interrogator would use an iron hammer to break his or her bones while the wheel was spinning. Victims usually were left on the revolving wheel to suffer an excruciating death.”3

Judas’ Chair

Judas’ Chair

“The Judas Chair was a pyramid-shaped seat (see right). The person being asked to confess his sins against Christ was placed on top of it, with the point inserted into the anus or vagina. Then, as the questioning advanced, the Inquisitor very slowly lowered the defendant further and further onto the point by overhead ropes.

“Some theories suggest that the intended effect was to stretch the orifice over a long period of time, or to slowly impale. The victim was usually naked, adding to the humiliation already endured.”4

The Iron Virgin (or Iron Maiden)

The Iron Virgin (or Iron Maiden)

“It was fitted with spikes on the inside that pierced different parts of the body but never transfixed vital organs in order to keep the victim alive, hanging upright, and still suffering until they finally got their wish and died. The device would be opened both from the front and from the back side without the victim being able to get out. The container was so thick that no shriek could be heard from outside unless the doors were opened.”5

Holes on the bottom allowed blood and other bodily fluids to run out.

Head Crusher

Head Crusher

“With the head placed under the upper cap and the chin placed above the bottom bar, the top screw of this awful device was slowly turned, compressing the skull tightly. First the teeth are destroyed, shattering and splintering into the jaw. Then the eyes are squeezed from the sockets – some versions had special receptacles to catch them. Lastly, the skull fractures and the contents of the head are forced out. In earlier stages, the torturer could keep the head firmly clamped and strike the metal skull cap periodically; each blow echoing pain throughout the victim’s body.”6

The Heretic’s Fork

The Heretic’s ForkThe Heretic’s Fork

“This device was often used to silence the victim on the way to the burning stake, so they could not reveal what had occurred in the torture chamber or defend themselves in any way.”7

The Crocodile Tube

The Crocodile Tube

“The crocodile tube wasn't common, but it was used to kill many infidels and thieves.

“The victim was fixed inside a tube just big enough for the victim's entrance. The tube, having crocodile teeth-like spikes, was slowly compressed leaving the victim totally immobilized. The torturer could only see his face and feet.

“With the help of carbon and fire underneath the tube, the torturer gradually heated the tube until he extracted a confession or killed the victim. The former was most common, as this is one of the cruelest and most painful tortures ever used on human beings.

“With the face and feet exposed, the torturer was able to inflict painful wounds on the victim. Facial mutilation and toe ripping were preferred choices.”8

The Spanish Donkey

The Spanish Donkey

“A naked victim would be placed on the sharp pyramid like object, as if riding a donkey. The torturer would then put very light weights onto his feet leading up to very heavy weights which would slowly tear the man/woman in half! A very painful device!”9

Rectal, Oral, and Vaginal Pear

Rectal, Oral, and Vaginal Pear

“This was a pear-shaped device, with the body of the pear made up of four metal ‘leaves’ joined by a hinge at its top, and a key or crank on one end. The pear was inserted into the vagina, anus or throat, depending on the nature of the crime committed: The oral device was reserved for heretics, while the anal and vaginal pears were used on homosexuals and witches, respectively. Turning the key opened the leaves, causing massive internal damage. The device was rarely fatal, but other methods of torture would usually follow.”10

Flaying

Flaying

“Flaying actually means skinning (as in, removing the skin from a person's body. . . ). As an execution and torture method flaying humans was done, of course, while they were alive. If it was merely a torture method without death, then only parts of the skin were removed. However, if the person was sentenced to death by flaying or they were captured by enemies, then death was the goal of this practice and usually a lot of skin was removed.”11

Cat’s Paw (Spanish Tickler)

Cat’s Paw (Spanish Tickler)

“This terrible device was used in most of Europe during the Middle Ages. It's a very simple instrument that was used to tear a victim's skin apart. Due to its shape, neither bones nor muscles were spared.

“The victim was naked and tied making him or her completely defenseless. Then the torturers began the (sometimes public) act of mutilating the victim. They often began with the limbs and slowly moved into the chest, back, neck and finally the face.

“In short, the Spanish Tickler or Cat's Paw, is nothing but an extension to the torturer's hand. The spikes were sharp enough to tear anything in their path.”

Knee Splitter

Knee Splitter

“The knee-splitter was an ancient form of torture where two planks, each lined with spikes usually varying from 3-20, where put on either side of the victim's knee. The planks where connected by two large screws through the sides holding them in place around the knee. The screws would be twisted, slowly moving the planks closer together and forcing the spikes through the knee. This would rip apart the flesh and, as it got deeper, crush the bones underneath, mutilating the limb and leaving them permanently damaged. Despite the name, the knee-splitter was actually used on any limb it could fit around. This torture device was not always used alone and actually quite often was accompanied by many other punishments such as burning, wedging, denailing, and many others.”12

Scavenger’s Daughter

Scavenger’s Daughter

“Was invented by, and named after, a Brit named Skevington. It is alternately referred to as Skeffington's gyves. The apparatus consists of a hoop of iron with a hinge in the middle. The victim was forced to crouch on one half of the hoop while the other half was pivoted and placed over his back. (Imagine being placed into a giant set of iron dentures.) The torturer would use a screw to tighten the hinge, crushing the victim further and further into his involuntary crouch. Eventually, ribs and breastbone would crack and the spine could be dislocated. Sometimes the compression was so great that blood would gush from the fingertips and face. Queen Elizabeth I of England used this tool against Protestants she accused of high treason.”13

Breast Ripper

Breast Ripper

“Used as a way to punish women, the breast ripper was a painful and cruel way to mutilate a woman's breasts. . . . The claws were used either hot or cold on the victim's exposed breasts. If the victim wasn't killed she would be scarred for life as her breasts were literally torn apart.

“A common variant of the breast ripper is often referred to as The Spider which is a similar instrument attached to a wall. The victim's breasts were fixed to the claws and the woman was pulled by the torturer away from the wall; successfully removing them.”14

The Pillory

The Pillory

“When it was only required to stamp a culprit with infamy he was put into the Medieval Pillory, which was generally a kind of scaffold furnished with chains and iron collars, and bearing on its front the arms of the feudal lord. In Paris, this name was given to a round isolated tower built in the centre of the market. The tower was sixty feet high, and had large openings in its thick walls, and a horizontal wheel was provided, which was capable of turning on a pivot. This wheel was pierced with several holes, made so as to hold the hands and head of the culprit, who, on passing and re-passing before the eyes of the crowd, came in full view, and was subjected to their hooting and jeers. The pillories were always situated in the most frequented places, such as markets and crossways.”15

The Neck Brace

The Neck Brace

“Weighing more than eleven pounds, this collar was fastened around the neck and rested on the shoulders. Originally used for the torture of prisoners, at times it became the means of execution as the abrasions and piercings became infected with gangrene and the victim lapsed into eventual coma. There are rumors that this collar is still in use in some parts of the world.”16

The Thumb Screws

The Thumb ScrewsThe Thumb Screws

“The thumbscrew was used during the Middle Ages. The victim's fingers were placed inside the instrument and slowly crushed as the torturer turned the handle on top. This method was primarily used to extract confessions as it was both painful and very lasting. . . . The same instrument was also used to crush victim's toes.”17

Thumb screws are still used in some parts of the world.

The Brazen Bull

“The Brazen Bull was a hollow brass statue crafted to resemble a real bull. Victims were placed inside, usually with their tongues cut out first. The door was shut, sealing them in. Fires would then be lit around the bull. As the victim succumbed to the searing heat inside, he would thrash about and scream in agony. The movements and sounds, muted by the bull's mass, made the apparatus appear alive, the sounds inside like those of a real bull. This effect created additional amusement for the audience, and served the added benefit of distancing them from the brutality of the torture, since they couldn't directly see the victim.”18

“The brazen bull is an executionary device first invented in Ancient Greece. . . . When a victim is placed inside the brazen bull, he or she is slowly burned to death. This device gradually became more sophisticated until the Greek invented a complex system of tubes in order to make the victim's screams sound like an infuriated ox. Even though this torture was not used as frequently during the Middle Ages as it was used earlier by the Greek and Romans, it was still used in Central Europe. This torture is similar to being boiled alive.”19

Are the ordinances for the Inquisition still today part of the code of canon law of the Roman Catholic Church?

The answer is an emphatic YES. This shocking fact is hardly noticed or known by even Roman Catholics themselves. This is confirmed by Canon 1311 and Canon 752.

"The church has an innate and proper right to coerce offending members of the Christian faithful by any means of papal functions." Canon 1311

"A religious respect of the intellect and will, even if not the assent of faith, is to be paid to the treating which the supreme Pontiff or the college of bishops enunciate on faith and morals." Canon 752

If the Inquisition is still today part of the ordinances of the Roman Catholic Church, under what name does the Inquisition function?

The name of this dreadful office has been laundered several times to disguise and soften its image. In 1908, Pope Pius X renamed it ‘the Holy Office.’ Later Pope Paul VI, in 1965, softened the name further and renamed it the ‘Congregation for Doctrine of the Faith.’

On November 25, 1981, Pope John Paul II revived the “Holy Office of the Inquisition” when he named Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger (later Pope Benedict XVI) as Prefect of the Congregation for Doctrine of the Faith. In other words, Pope John Paul II appointed Cardinal Ratzinger to the office of Grand Inquisitor.

What proof do you have that the Roman Catholic Church does employ Inquisition when given the chance?

Ante PavelićThe most gruesome recent Inquisition carried out by the Roman Catholic Church took place during WWII, in the newly created State of Croatia. Ante Pavelić as head of the new state of Croatia, together with Roman Catholic Archbishop Aloysius Stepinac implemented a ‘convert-or-die’ that led to the killing of hundreds of thousands of Greek Orthodox and Jews.

Archbishop Alois Stepinac“During Pavelić's four-year reign, he and Roman Catholic Prelate, Archbishop Alois Stepinac, pursued a ‘convert or die’ policy among the 900,000 Greek Orthodox Serbs, Jews, and others in Croatia. 200,000 were converted; the 700,000 who chose to die were tortured, burned, buried alive, or shot after digging their own graves.

“The mutilations were horrific, the tortures vicious, and the savagery terrible. The Catholic Church did not leave the execution of a religious war to the secular arm. She was there herself, openly ignoring precautions and bolder than she had been for a very long time. Wielding the hatchet or dagger, pulling the trigger, organizing the massacre, the Roman Catholic priests became their own instruments of the Inquisition....”20

How do historians today regard the horrific massacre conducted by Roman Catholic Croatian WWII leader Ante Pavelić?

"(It was) an act of 'ethnic cleansing' before that hideous term came into vogue, it was an attempt to create a 'pure' Catholic Croatia by enforced conversions, deportations, and mass exterminations. So dreadful were the acts of torture and murder that even hardened German troops registered their horror. Even by comparison with the recent bloodshed in Yugoslavia at the time of writing, Pavelic's onslaught against the Orthodox Serbs remains one of the most appalling civilian massacres known to history."21

Did followers of Saint Francis of Assisi (AKA Franciscans) play any role in the Croatian massacres?

"Priests, invariably Franciscans, took a leading part in the massacres. Many, went around routinely armed and performed their murderous acts with zeal. A Father Bozidar Bralow, known for the machine gun that was his constant companion, was accused of performing a dance around the bodies of 180 massacred Serbs at Alipasin-Most. Individual Franciscans killed, set fire to homes, sacked villages, and laid waste the Bosnian countryside at the head of Ustashe bands. In September of 1941, an Italian reporter wrote of a Franciscan he had witnessed south of Banja Luka urging on a band of Ustashe with his crucifix."22

How did Pope Pius XII treat the Croatian Catholic leader Ante Pavelić?

“Pope Pius XII received Ante Pavelić at the Vatican with the honors due a head of state and called him ‘A Much Maligned Man.’ The Vatican [sic] retained a close relationship with the Ustasha [the name of the Croatian regime led by Ante Pavelić] until the end of the war, and after.”23

Was the Vatican ignorant of the massacres going on in Croatia while welcoming and honoring the Croatian leader in the Vatican?

“The Vatican would also have been aware of frequent BBC broadcasts on Croatia, of which the following (which were monitored by the Vatican State), on February 16th 1942, was typical:

Archbishop Alois Stepinac meets with Ante Pavelić

" ‘The worst atrocities are being committed in the environs of the archbishop of Zagreb [Stepinac]. The blood of brothers is flowing in (the) streams. The Orthodox are being forcibly converted to Catholicism and we do not hear the archbishop's voice preaching revolt. Instead it is reported that he is taking part in Nazi and Fascist parades.’ "24

Ustachi/Ustasha symbol“Many Roman Catholic priests served the Ustasha state in high positions. The pope appointed the highest military vicar for Croatia. The latter had a field chaplain in every unit of the Ustasha army. [See their symbol to the left.] The task of this field chaplain consisted among other things of repeatedly goading the Ustasha units in their mass murders of the peasant population. High dignitaries of the Roman Catholic Church and of the Ustasha state together organized the mass conversion of the Orthodox Serbian population. Hundreds of Orthodox churches in Serbia were plundered and destroyed; the three highest dignitaries and two hundred clerics were murdered in cold blood; the remainder of the clergy were driven into exile. In the concentration camp of Jasenovac, hundreds of thousands of Serbs were murdered under the command of Roman Catholic priests.”25

After the defeat of the Nazis in WWII, the Croatian leader Ante Pavelić was on the run for his life. Why did the allied forces avoid the capturing of Ante Pavelić?

"…agents hunting escaped Nazi war criminals were purposely avoided capturing one man because his contacts are so high and his present position was so compromising to the Vatican, that any extradition to the subject would deal a staggering blow to the Roman Catholic Church…"26

The man that they deliberately avoided capturing was Ante Pavelić.

With so many tools of torture already available, are these still being used? Or are there new, modern forms of torture?

Methods of torture are continually being refined and invented as Satan, who delights in misery and suffering, seeks to prolong as long as possible the agony of the tortured.

Did Rome invent all of the torture devices she used to persecute the faithful?

No. Certain torture methods used can be trace back to the Greeks and Romans. However, the Roman Catholic Church did not hesitate to use every satanic device available. Furthermore, she made extensive use of new methods as they became available in the various countries under her influence. The papacy has always kept current on the most effective ways to achieve her desired goals.

Today, new and more vicious tools of torture are being developed as outlined below. WLC expects that Rome will make use of these new, more effective methods of torture when her time comes and she is restored to power. As WLC believes that the beast of Revelation refers to the Roman Catholic hierarchy, Revelation 17:12 is a prophecy of the power wielded by a revitalized Catholic Church. This power, according to Scripture will, as in times past, be once again exercised through the various secular governments who yield their sovereignty to Rome.

“And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.

“These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.

“These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.” (Revelations 17:12, KJV)

It should be understood, however, that Rome can exercise power through governments even if the government is not clearly seen to be in alliance with the papacy. Any government which furthers Rome’s agenda is working with her even if they claim to be Protestant, atheist or simply independent of any religious influence. MODERN TORTURE DEVICES

Have modern treaties such as the Hague Convention made the use of torture obsolete?

No. Regardless of what is claimed by various treaties signed by the governments of the world, torture is still used in the modern world. Indeed, modern science has refined torture to the point that it is even more highly effective then the crude methods used during the Dark Ages. During the Inquisition, torturers had a limited number of ways to bring pain and force the will. These methods were predominantly limited to: burning, pinching, cutting or piercing, crushing or pulling apart and drowning.

Today these methods are seen as grotesque but they are also crude. Furthermore, they frequently ended in the death of the person whereas other forms of torture are devised specifically to prolong the life of the victim as long as possible. There are now much more sophisticated ways to torture – and every single one of them has been highly refined by the powers that use them. These methods include but are not limited to:
Sound

sound to cause pain

From sounds at frequencies which cause physical pain, to sounds which instill terror and weaken the will, the use of sound in torture has been repeatedly used by those in power to subjugate the will of those they would seek to control. A well-documented example of this is when, in 1993, the U.S. Government murdered 76 men, women and children in a church compound in Waco, Texas for crimes allegedly committed by their leader but never proven in a court of law. Among other sounds blared by loud speakers around the clock were the sounds of Tibetan monks chanting, animals screaming while being slaughtered and heavy metal music.27

Sound has also been used to instill panic, and control or disperse crowds.28

Drugs

“The official [United States] Department of Energy website [outlines] an extraordinary number of medical experiments on men, women, and children predominantly using chemical and radioactive substances which were clearly understood to be deadly substances. It is apparent that a method to indoctrinate, recruit, and enlarge the budget for increased use on the public by other more modern electronic devices has taken place.”29

Truth Serum

“Truth Serum”, a colloquial name for a range of psychoactive drugs used to obtain information from subjects who are unable or unwilling to provide it otherwise. Sodium thiopental, marketed as Pentothal, is one form of an intravenous hypnotic drug used in narcoanalysis (the controlled administration of said drug). The use of such drugs came about in the 1930’s and are still in use today. A judge approved the use of narcoanalysis in the trial of the 2012 Aurora shooting to evaluate whether James Eagan Holmes's state of mind is valid for an insanity plea. [taken from: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Truth_serum and P. Solomon Banda; Dan Elliott (11 Mar 2013). "Judge OKs medication for Colorado shooting suspect". Yahoo! News. AP.]

Poisons

During the Cold War, the Soviet Union used various poisonous drugs against its own citizens, injecting Christians and other political dissidents with poisons designed not only to induce pain but also to change the thinking of these individuals whom the courts deemed mentally deficient.

Poisons have also been used for population control and control of dissidents. Both the Nazis and the Soviets added fluoride to the drinking water of their concentration camps in order to make the prisoners more docile and lethargic. United States Air Force Major, George R. Jordan, testified before Congress of Soviet use during World War II. Now, fluoride is routinely added to municipal water supplies under the guise of “health.”

fluoride is posion

"At the end of the Second World War, the United States Government sent Charles Elliot Perkins, a research worker in chemistry, biochemistry, physiology and pathology, to take charge of the vast Farben chemical plants in Germany. While there, he was told by German chemists of a scheme which had been worked out by them during the war and adopted by the German General Staff.

"This scheme was to control the population in any given area through mass medication of drinking water. In this scheme, sodium fluoride occupied a prominent place.

"Repeated doses of infinitesimal amounts of fluoride will in time reduce an individual's power to resist domination by slowly poisoning and narcotizing a certain area of the brain, and will thus make him submissive to the will of those who wish to govern him.

"Both the Germans and the Russians added fluoride to the drinking water of prisoners of war to make them stupid and docile."30

In its raid on the church compound in Waco, Texas in 1993, the United States Government also injected poisonous gases into the buildings. The men, women and children exposed to this gas died when their muscles contracted so hard that their spines snapped. Those who escaped the gas were either killed in the fires set by government tanks or were gunned down by government agents surrounding the compound.

Microwaves

The use of microwaves is a particularly brutal form of modern torture. Highly accurate, beamed microwaves can pierce through buildings and literally cook a person’s internal organs, causing excruciating pain. Other use of microwaves is auditory in nature:

Microwave Technology

The Korean Atomic Energy Group and LIG Nex1 (an aerospace and defense subsidiary of LG Corp) have jointly developed what they are calling the world’s first bird strike defense robot. Complete article: http://skewsme.com/tinfoilhat/chapter/voice-to-skull-v2k/#ixzz2d2yjq8Gx Skews.Me http://skewsme.com/tinfoilhat/chapter/voice-to-skull-v2k/#axzz2d2rRQIao
“Researchers are in the process of developing the Mob Excess Deterrent Using Silent Audio or MEDUSA (that’s right, from Greek mythology), which uses a beam of microwaves to induce uncomfortable auditory sensations in the skull. The device exploits the microwave audio effect, in which short microwave pulses rapidly heat tissue, causing a shockwave inside the skull that can be detected by the ears. MEDUSA’s audio effect is loud enough to cause discomfort or even incapacitation. It may also cause a little brain damage from the high-intensity shockwave created by the microwave pulse.”31

Another use of microwave technology is known as the “Invisible Pain Ray”:

Active Denial System, or ADS

“It sounds like a weapon out of Star Wars. The Active Denial System, or ADS, works like an open-air microwave oven, projecting a focused beam of electromagnetic radiation to heat the skin of

its targets to 130 degrees. This creates an intolerable burning sensation forcing those in its path to instinctively flee (a response the Air Force dubs the ‘goodbye effect’).

“The Pentagon’s Joint Non-Lethal Weapons Program (JNLWP) says, ‘This capability will add to the ability to stop, deter and turn back an advancing adversary, providing an alternative to lethal force.’ Although ADS is described as non-lethal, a 2008 report by physicist and less-lethal weapons expert Dr. Jürgen Altmann suggests otherwise:

“ ‘ … the ADS provides the technical possibility to produce burns of second and third degree. Because the beam of diameter 2 m and above is wider than human size, such burns would occur over considerable parts of the body, up to 50% of its surface. Second- and third-degree burns covering more than 20% of the body surface are potentially life-threatening – due to toxic tissue-decay products and increased sensitivity to infection – and require intensive care in a specialized unit. Without a technical device that reliably prevents re-triggering on the same target subject, the ADS has a potential to produce permanent injury or death. ’ ”32

Psychological Warfare

Psychological WarfareBy far the most frightening of all are the various forms of psychological warfare. First pioneered by the Soviet Union in the 1960s, but quickly followed by the United States and her allies, psy-ops uses extremely sophisticated forms of attack to bend the will, change the personality and even transform deeply held beliefs. An example of this was seen during the First Gulf War when subliminal sound waves beamed at battle-hardened Iraqi troops led to mass peaceful defections and surrender to UN troops. Various reports also claim the British government has used such technology against its own citizens to disperse demonstrators and protestors.

While these advanced forms of torture are now being used by governments and there is no evidence to suggest that the Roman Catholic Church is employing these methods at this time, all should be aware of these modern techniques. Often the only thing stopping a power from using excessive force is simply lack of opportunity.

Were all the martyrs killed by the Roman Catholic Church?

No. The true number of innocents killed at the hands of the Roman hierarchy will only be known in Heaven. However, just as frequently if not more so, the Roman Catholic Church used the power of secular governments to carry out her agenda. A prime example of this is the notorious “Spanish Inquisition” which was instituted by Queen Isabella of Spain.

Because the estate of any condemned person was forfeited to the state, Isabella profited financially from every “guilty” sentence pronounced. These funds she used for financing Christopher Columbus’s explorations of the “New World.” Various researchers have documented the fact that wealthy widows were more frequently accused of “heresy” under the Spanish Inquisition than any other demographic group. While the state benefitted financially, the Church profited from the nearly limitless power placed at her disposal.

Other examples of the Church using secular princes to persecute her religious opponents can be found in the history of France and Bavaria, including the arrest, incarceration and eventual martyrdom of John Huss who had traveled under the promised protection of his king, Sigismund. Under pressure from the Catholic prelates that “Faith need not and should not be kept with heretics, Sigismund betrayed his promise, and Huss was arrested, convicted and burned at the stake.

This practice of using secular powers to further her own agenda is continued to the present day. Catholic legislators are expected to vote an matters before them in keeping with the dictates of Catholic dogma, regardless of the preferences of their constituents. Catholic citizens are themselves required to vote in the secular and political arena in keeping with Church doctrine. The Holy Office of the Inquisition, also known as the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, provides, on the official Vatican website, instruction for Catholics interested in politics: Doctrinal Note: The Participation of Catholics in Political Life.33

Will Yahwah’s people again face Rome’s Inquisition?

Rome has never refuted her doctrine of conversion by force, first employed in the Inquisition and, more recently, during World War II. While not openly employing force today, she is nevertheless carefully awaiting her chance to again assume the reins of power.

“And let it be remembered, it is the boast of Rome that she never changes. The principles of Gregory VII and Innocent III are still the principles of the Roman Catholic Church. And had she but the power, she would put them in practice with as much vigor now as in past centuries.”34

Testimonies, such as that given by escaped nun Charlotte Wells, reveal that the Catholic Church continues to this day to murder, torture, rape and kill, adults and children alike, behind cloistered walls where the light of the outside world never shines to expose the evil done to those trapped inside.35

The record of history clearly proves the Roman Catholic Church has a practice of allying itself with whatever political power is in force at a given time, whether that be the Carolingian kings of France, or Hitler in Germany. The late Malachi Martin, himself a Jesuit and well-known author, revealed the modern and very real presence of Satan in the Vatican: “The Enthronement of the Fallen Archangel Lucifer was effected within the Roman Catholic Citadel on June 29, 1963; a fitting date for the historic promise about to be fulfilled. As the principal agents of this ceremonial well knew, Satanist tradition had long predicted that the Time of the Prince would be ushered in at the moment when a Pope would take the name of the Apostle Paul [Pope Paul VI].”36

In March of 2010, Chief Vatican exorcist, Father Gabriele Amorth was quoted in the Italian newspaper, La Republica: “The devil resides in the Vatican and you can see the consequences. He can remain hidden, or speak in different languages, or even appear to be sympathetic. At time he makes fun of me. But I’m a man who is happy in his work.”37 He then went on to add that Satan’s influence in the highest ranks of Catholicism is seen in “cardinals who do not believe in Jesus and bishops who are linked to the demon.”38

Wherever the presence of Satan is, there is also force as that is a foundational principle of his government. The weight of historical evidence reveals that the Catholic Church has frequently and repeatedly used political powers as tools to further its own ends. Thus, it is logical to conclude that, with the advent of modern methods of torture, she has not distanced herself since she still holds to the doctrine of the right to convert by force. Revived persecution by Rome, either directly or indirectly through governments she influences, is further confirmation of her boast that Rome never changes.

“God's word has given warning of the impending danger; let this be unheeded, and the Protestant world will learn what the purposes of Rome really are, only when it is too late to escape the snare. She is silently growing into power. Her doctrines are exerting their influence in legislative halls, in the churches, and in the hearts of men. She is piling up her lofty and massive structures in the secret recesses of which her former persecutions will be repeated. Stealthily and unsuspectedly she is strengthening her forces to further her own ends when the time shall come for her to strike. All that she desires is vantage ground, and this is already being given her. We shall soon see and shall feel what the purpose of the Roman element is. Whoever shall believe and obey the word of God will thereby incur reproach and persecution.”39

When persecution is revived, will Italy and Germany take the leading role in persecuting Yahuwah’s people as they did in the past?

While all governments will, to a greater or lesser degree, join in the battle against truth and Heaven in the person of the saints, WLC believes that the United States, as the second beast of Revelation 13, will take the leading role in this revived persecution. All countries on earth will follow her example in aligning themselves with Rome in persecuting the saints.

World’s Last Chance feels compelled to warn all of a return of the Inquisition, fiercer than ever before.

And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of Yahuwah, and for the testimony which they held:

And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Yahuwah, holy and true, dost Thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?

And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellow servants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled. (Revelation 6:9-11)

The Papacy claims infallibility for its popes. Thus, the dictates of its popes can never change or it would prove they are, indeed, sinful, fallible human beings. As an unchanging institution, the papacy is the “masterpiece of Satan’s power – a monument to his efforts to seat himself upon the throne to rule the earth according to his will.”40

WLC believes the fires of a revived Inquisition will purify Yahuwah’s people of any lingering affection for the world, igniting in their hearts a fervor for Heaven unseen for centuries.

The dark tale of man’s inhumanity to man remains a triumphant testimony to Yahuwah’s power to save to the uttermost all who put their faith and trust in Him. It is beyond the strength of any human to withstand physical torture inspired by demons. It is physically impossible for any brain to withstand drugs and subliminal sound waves specifically designed to change one’s attitudes and beliefs. Christians today, as Christians in the past, will find that Yahuwah is their strength and help in time of need.

Shortly before his martyrdom, the apostle Paul wrote to Timothy that he had been appointed by Yahushua to be a preacher, an apostle and a teacher, adding: “For this reason I also suffer these things; nevertheless I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep what I have committed to Him until that Day.” (2 Timothy 1:12, NKJV)

This will be the testimony of all who put their trust in Yahuwah. However, NOW is the day of salvation. NOW is the time to make your calling and election sure. Make it a habit to trust in Yahuwah for the little things. Faith is a plant which, if nurtured, will grow quickly. By trusting Yahuwah in the day-to-day activities, your faith and trust will be strengthened to rest in Him on the larger matters and thus, day by day, your experience will deepen and grow.

“Oh, taste and see that Yahuwah is good;
Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!
The eyes of Yahuwah are on the righteous,
And His ears are open to their cry.
The righteous cry out, and Yahuwah hears,
And delivers them out of all their troubles.
Many are the afflictions of the righteous,
But Yahuwah delivers him out of them all.”
(Psalm 34:8, 15, 17, and 19)
