DUTCHSINSE - NIGHTLY EARTHQUAKE UPDATE + FORECAST - CALIFORNIA, JAPAN AND WEST PACIFIC UNREST | 01.13.17

Multiple locations in the West Pacific have been placed on watch for potential large earthquake activity.

Japan South of Honshu is on watch for up to M8.3 activity, or swarm activity similar in size for up to 3 more days from today (watch ending on Jan 17 2017).

Coast of California (Gorda Escarpment off the shores of Eureka) are on watch for up to M6.8 (M6.9) earthquake activity to develop off the coast, this should only cause M5.0 intensity (shaking) on land, not that big of a deal in itself.

After the West coast of the United States is hit, we are watching for 3 additional days for Oklahoma's fracking operations to be struck by a noteworthy swarm topping out near M5.0 (possibly multiple swarms at once as opposed to the single M5.0 release) . Each swarm should be directly associated with new oil + gas wells that have been drilled recently.

West Pacific - South Indonesia -- on Watch for a potential very large earthquake M8.3 to M9.3 for an additional 3 days (72 hours) from this point.

The likelihood of going all the way up to M9.3 is slim, however needs mentioning due to the previous deep earthquakes causing shallower larger earthquakes up to 1-2 magnitude larger than the original deep event.

Eastern Nepal at the India border should be on watch for M6.2 to M6.3 activity after Indonesia is hit, or around the same time the other earthquakes occur which are forecast. (Nepal region should move after the West Pacific), should all occur within 72 hours from this point.

South Europe, Mediterranean, and Italy -- new activity in the next 72 hours may reach up to M4.9 and strike the area between the two swarms (Cudi Italy) directly along the plate boundary East of Rome.

Central America, watching currently for M5.5 activity near El Salvador into Nicaragua for 72 hours from this point.

South America, watching the Ecuador Columbia border for a M5.8 within 72 hours.

Central Mid-Atlantic ridge at the Romanche Fracture zone be on watch for a M5.0 (M4.9) at the pressure termination point.
