LEONARDO DICAPRIO, POPE FRANCIS DISCUSS ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES

The Pope had an unusual visitor on Thursday as actor Leonardo DiCaprio met with the pontiff to discuss climate change.

As he arrived, DiCaprio greeted the Pope in Italian saying, “Your Holiness, thank you for granting me this private audience with you.”

Later in the meeting, DiCaprio gave Pope Francis a book by the 15th century Dutch painter Hieronymus Bosch. The book contained a work by Bosch called “Garden of Earthly Delights” which DiCaprio revealed was hanging over his crib as a child. He also told Francis he believed the work represented the current state of the environment, as it features three panels, one with Adam and Eve, one with a blossoming landscape, and the third being a depiction of hell.

Francis has openly opposed the fossil fuel-based economy that runs the world and has demanded greener sources to save the environment. DiCaprio on the other hand, has long been involved in green initiatives. In 1998, he even launched a foundation aimed at increasing sustainability efforts.

Here are my thoughts:

The only issues we have today are the affairs of the heart.. The love of the flesh, the eyes and the love of money.. From this, we get the denial of sins. We are seeing the total breakdown of mankind. The moral decay of souls who have defied the Word of GOD; and souls who have risen against the remnant who are called to share the Gospel..

We are indeed watching the world slip away.

The Bible have predicted the demise of this world, but we are not without HOPE. Hope that can only be found in the Son of GOD.. HE alone is our Mediator, and He alone is what will see us through..

Do not be deceived. Do not be like those who profess their love of the Messiah, yet are still condoning the sins that are listed in the Bible. For this my dear, is what makes you the soul that GOD mentioned in Matthew 15:8 and Mark 7:6.

For those that do not read the Bible, this is what it says, "This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me."

Proverbs 14:12 and 16:25 both states, "There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death."

These are the Precious Words of our Living GOD, who dwells in the Holiest of Holy places; and whose EYES behold the good and the evil, the great and the small, the rich and the poor. Blessed BE His Holy Name forever!
