OBAMA WILL REVOKE TAX EXEMPT STATUS OF CHURCHES WHO REFUSE TO WED GAYS

<Washington, DC> Churches who refuse to wed homosexual couples could lose their tax exempt status if President Barack Obama has his way. During a recent press conference, Obama expressed to reporters his hope to reduce–if not eliminate–places of worship which refuse to comply with the Supreme Court’s ruling on same sex marriages.

“In America, our progressive values are what sets us apart from the rest of the world. We simply cannot tolerate those who stand in the way of such advancement. The bigoted, and superstitious mindsets of the past have no place in our modern society. Excluding homosexuals from their civil rights is a stance that the federal government will not tolerate.”

When one reporter asked about the places of worship for other religions, such as Jewish synagogues, and Muslim mosques, Obama replied defensively:
“Groups such as Muslims are a minority here in America. It would unfair, and un-American to punish such religious sects; To hold them accountable on the same level as Christians, who are the majority in this nation. True Christians should embrace this plan rather than object to it. My proposal will bring us closer to eradicating same sex discrimination while also reducing the taxes the average citizen must pay.

It’s unknown when Obama plans to follow through with agenda, or if it is simply wishful thinking on the POTUS’ part. Many Christians were opposed to the idea of gay marriage, and plan to formulate an appeal that they will present to the supreme court, in the hopes of being able to exclude gay couples from being married in their places of worship.
