THE 7 TRUMPETS OF REVELATION

The 7 Trumpets of Revelation

Primary focus with the Trumpets is not the exact timing of their occurrence; rather, we wish to emphasize that the sounding of the Trumpets is yet future, and will take place before the close of probation.  This is in contrast to the popular teaching that the Trumpets have already been fulfilled, which is not only erroneous, but most dangerous, as it leaves God's people totally unprepared for the cataclysmic events about to unfold.

The following is a non-fictional account of events prophesied to happen any day.  The account is taken exclusively from the book of Revelation.  As the fulfillment of events prophesied nears, it is the Father’s will that His children fully understand the book of Revelation which has revealed all there is to know about final events.  Throughout this book there are most precious promises, and there are also... fearfully dire warnings.

hourglass & Bible Our loving Father has revealed that very soon the world will experience a series of 14 plagues: The first seven are “trumpets,”  serving as humanity’s final wake up call just before probation closes, granting one last chance before the destiny of each person is sealed.  The remaining are seven last plagues that will be inflicted after the close of probation, just before the Second Coming.  The catastrophic events of all these plagues will not be viewed as freak disasters caused by nature but as divine warnings.  And their impact will be universally felt.
Trumpet 1

Trumpet 1 will soon break upon the world as an overwhelming surprise, causing unprecedented terror in all humans.  Based on Revelation 17, we are very close to seeing the Trumpets hit Earth, in rapid succession.  With the reign of Benedict XVI, the 7th king behind us, we expect the Trumpets to commence hitting Earth at any time.

What does the Bible say will happen when Trumpet 1 hits Earth?

“The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.” (Revelation 8:7)

Trumpet 1 will cause the global destruction of 1/3 of the trees, and total destruction of every green grass.  To understand the catastrophic scope of this trumpet, we need to first evaluate the current precarious food crisis facing our world:

   Every day 25,000 people die from hunger-related causes.
   Every 7 seconds a child dies from hunger.
   When food accounts for more than half a poor family’s spending, price spikes can be truly devastating for millions living on the edge.
   Due to the flooding in 2011, the winter wheat crop in Australia has been absolutely devastated.
   In this past winter of 2010/11, Brazil was hit by the worst flooding the nation has ever experienced.  This has substantially undermined its food production capacity.
   Russia, the third largest wheat producer in the world, is still feeling the effects of the unprecedented high temperatures of the summer of 2010.  This led to the importing of wheat for the winter of 2010/11 to sustain its cattle herds.
   In 2010, Pakistan experienced the worst flooding ever recorded in the nation’s history, leading to the destruction of harvests.  At one point, 1/5 of the entire nation of Pakistan was under water.  The impact of this devastation on the agriculture of Pakistan is unimaginable.
   China is preparing for a “severe, long-lasting drought” that is marked as the worst drought in six decades, directly impacting the world's largest wheat-growing region.

Even without knowledge of the prophesied catastrophic effects of Trumpet 1, many UN food experts believe that the world is not far away from a horrific world famine.  It is estimated by some that approximately 1 billion people throughout the world go to bed hungry each night.

corn field showing signs of severe drought Hundreds of millions around the world who can barely afford to feed themselves are going to find it even harder to buy their daily bread.  All over the world, commodity price spikes have been pushing people into the streets.  High costs of staple foods have been cited as the catalyst for massive riots in Tunisia, which spiraled into a revolution.  Protests spread to Algeria, Morocco, Yemen and most notably to Egypt (world’s largest importer of wheat) which led to the overthrow of the Mubarak regime.

The day Trumpet 1 hits Earth, a state of indescribable panic will overcome all countries of the world as people suddenly realize that crops the world over and 1/3 of trees (including fruit trees) have been totally destroyed.  We dare not picture the riot scenes which will engulf the cities of the world.  However, the following events are certain to take place the day after Trumpet 1 hits Earth:

   Sudden dramatic collapse of the US Dollar, the reserve currency of the world, leading to the collapse of all other currencies.  Investors will instantly realize that the era of hyper-inflation has set in, as governments are forced to crank-up their money printing presses, to meet the social and economic cost resulting from this catastrophic plague.  This overwhelming shock will come at a time when world economy has yet to recover from the worst financial crisis since the 1930s.

   Instant meltdown will hit all financial markets, triggering an avalanche of sell orders of stocks and bonds in every stock exchange around the world, resulting in an indescribable financial mayhem in the capital markets.  There will be no buyers at any price, leading officials to close stock exchanges, as has happened recently in Egypt.  Fierce scrambling will instantly be triggered amongst food-deficient countries to purchase whatever food staples they can lay their hands on, leading to unprecedented price spikes for all food staples.

   World leaders rush to come up with plans for coping with this devastating emergency, while seeking to contain the food riots that will erupt in all their cities.

   A complete breakdown of law and order as people scramble to secure their food by any means.

The prophetic words of our Savior will be literally fulfilled:

“and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity...Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth.” (Luke 21:25, 26)

In early 2011, The U.K. Telegraph reported that various countries in Asia, the Middle East, and North Africa, are buying up rice, wheat, and other grains by the hundreds of thousands of tons. In some cases, they are buying enough to last up to a year.  From where will these countries buy the grains they need to feed their people when Trumpet 1 hits Earth?  What countries will be willing to export their limited stored stockpiles of grains then?  How many regimes will be toppled when their leaders admit that they are incapable of securing even the most basic food staples for their people after Trumpet 1?

Trumpet 1 will soon be followed by 2, 3, and 4.  The 5th to the 7th Trumpets are described as woes.  This means that they will be far more fearful and devastating than anything experienced in first 4 Trumpets.

“And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!” (Revelation 8:13)

“Today if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.” (Hebrews 3:15)

Today is your opportunity to stop running away from God and to accept His last call of mercy, which He has purchased for you at an infinite cost, the precious blood of His only begotten Son.  Today is your opportunity to become wise in the business of your eternal salvation. Why do you forfeit your eternal crown, and eternal life, for earthly gains which at best will be turned into ashes?

“For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?” (Matthew 16:26)

Today is your opportunity to arm yourself with His promises of protection to endure the imminent Trumpets, which will wreak devastating havoc on the whole world.  Would you dare go through the 4 Trumpets and the 3 Woes without His protection and care?  This promise is for those who make God their rock of refuge.

“Because thou hast made the Lord, Who is my refuge, even the Most High, thy habitation; there shall no evil shall befall thee, nor neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling; for He shall give His angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.” (Psalms 91:9-11)


Trumpet 2

Even before Trumpet 1 hits Earth, the world is already 'on the edge' regarding food security.  Today, 1 billion people suffer from hunger.  It is not hard to imagine the acute global food shortages that will face us after Trumpet 1 hits the planet.

“And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood; And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed.” (Revelation 8:8-9)

Trumpet 2 describes a blazing mountain (or meteor) falling into the sea which will cause unimaginable ecological devastation.

The results will be:

   1/3 of earth’s oceans will be turned into blood.
   1/3 of all ocean creatures will die.
   1/3 of all ships will be destroyed.

The death of 1/3 of the sea creatures will be caused by the highly toxic nature of the blazing mass and/or the shear underwater impact.  Trumpet 2 will cause the mother of all tsunamis which will destroy one third of all ships, i.e. about 18,000 merchant ships will disappear into the depth of the seas in one day.  This will only exacerbate the world famine, and will accelerate the spread of diseases.

Scientists say that meteors have collided with Earth many times in our planet’s history and it continues to happen from time to time.  Today, scientists fear that a massive rock surrounded by combustible gases will hurtle towards Earth.  As it enters the atmosphere, the gases thousands of dead fish washed up on the sea shore will ignite to make it a giant, flaming ball.  NASA is developing plans to nuke meteor threats with unmanned “nuclear interceptor” vessels before they are able to impact Earth.  However, no human intervention will ever succeed in halting the blazing meteor of Trumpet 2.

On January 7, 2002, there was an astronomically close-call from an asteroid 300 meters in diameter [984.25 ft], wandering too close to Earth.  The asteroid, dubbed YB5, was large enough to knock out a nation the size of France.  To grasp the extent of damage that will ensue from the impacts of asteroids of different sizes, scientists at a 1981 conference on mass extinctions provided the following scenarios:

   A collision with a 200 meter diameter [656.17 ft] asteroid would produce a 1,000-megaton explosion and between 200,000 and 100 million deaths.

   A collision with a 400 meter diameter [1/4 mile] asteroid would produce a 10,000-megaton blast and between two million and one billion deaths.  And that is from an asteroid less than half a kilometer across.

   A collision with a 10 kilometer diameter [6.21 miles] asteroid striking the ocean would produce a wave up to 5 kilometers [3.11 miles] high from the point of impact.  1,500 kilometers [932.06 miles] away the tsunami would still be 500 meters high [about 1/3 mile].

If such an asteroid were to hit the Gulf of Mexico, the waves would cause flooding in Kansas City! Such waves would wreak devastating havoc on international shipping and many coastal cities.  (Source: Gerrit L. Verschuur, “The End of Civilization?” Astronomy 19, no. 9 (September 1991): 50-54.)

What is the purpose of these Trumpets?

Our loving heavenly Father, God Almighty, has designed that the Trumpets serve as His last attempt to get the attention of each person on earth before He closes human probation forever.  Before our Lord Jesus Christ, comes again, the “gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world.” (Matthew 24:14)  Sadly, though, most people today are too busy to take time to listen to God's last call of mercy.

There are calamities happening all around us serving as unmistakable signs of the imminent close of probation, yet most people dismiss them as freaks of nature.  People's minds, being steeped in worldliness and human traditions, prevent them today from hearing and accepting the gospel.  But very soon, God will dramatically interrupt the lives of people on earth and challenge their way of thinking by way of the Trumpets.

Faced with the reality of death posed by these Trumpets, each living person will have to make a decision of whether to obey God or Satan.  Only after the last person has made their final decision will probation forever be closed, and the destiny of each living person will have been sealed.  The Saviour will then shortly come the second time to raise the righteous dead and they, with the living righteous, will be taken up to heaven.

Trumpet 3

“And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters;  And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.” (Revelation 8: 10-11)

meteor shower When Trumpet 3 sounds, there will be another giant meteor dropping from the sky like a blazing torch.  It will fall on 1/3 of the rivers and on the springs of waters, causing 1/3 of the freshwater on earth to become bitter.  Many people will die from drinking this extremely bitter and poisonous water.

This “great star”, or blazing meteor, is dubbed “Wormwood.”  This name represents a poisonous woody plant, with a strong aromatic odor and an extremely bitter taste.  In the Bible, this plant symbolizes great calamity and sorrow.

The plague of  Trumpet 3 has been foretold by Jeremiah in the following solemn warning:

“And the Lord saith, Because they have forsaken my law which I set before them, and have not obeyed my voice, neither walked therein; But have walked after the imagination of their own heart, and after Baalim, which their fathers taught them: Therefore thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will feed them, even this people, with wormwood, and give them water of gall to drink.” (Jeremiah 9:13-15)

Thus, we see that during Trumpets 2 & 3, both fresh and salt waters are greatly contaminated.  Through these two plagues, 1/3 of all of the world's water becomes unusable, as seawater turns to blood in Trumpet 2 and freshwater is made bitter in Trumpet 3.  Furthermore, these two Trumpets will likely produce significant atmospheric pollution.  We know that meteors are highly toxic.  There have been reports of poisonous gases and radiation emitted from relatively small meteors that have hit the earth in the past.

On September 18, 2007, Living in Peru published an article with the following headline: “Police Officers Hospitalized After Collecting Meteorite Samples in Peru.”  According to Peru's Government News Agency, at least seven police officers were affected after they collected samples from the landing site of what is thought to be meteorite. mountain stream There is no question that the falling of the great meteor of Trumpet 3 will lead to the destruction of freshwater sources: rivers, streams, and lakes.  Today, even before the catastrophic effects of Trumpet 3, there is already a worldwide freshwater crisis.  Here are some facts:

   Roughly 1/6 of the world's population (1.2 billion people) does not have access to safe drinking water.
   Water-related illnesses are the leading cause of human sickness and death.
   It is estimated that 2.2 million people die annually in developing countries as a result of inadequate sanitation and the deprivation of safe drinking water.
   Half of the world’s 500 major rivers are gravely depleted or polluted.
   Some parts of America use up to 80% of their available freshwater resources.  (That means a slight drought or increase in usage will cause a WATER SHORTAGE).
   Two-thirds of the cities in China suffer from water shortages.  And clean water is even more difficult to find.
   The World Bank reports that 80 countries are now experiencing water shortages that threaten the health of people and their national economies.  The report further estimates that 40 percent of the world — more than 2 billion people — have no access to clean water or sanitation.

Rivers and lakes all over the world now contain contamination from:

   Pollution (often with deadly poisons)
   Radiation
   Erosion (caused by the removal of the forests)
   Gold prospecting (where mercury is often used)
   Acid rain (clouds of pollution that drift from industrial sites)
   Pesticides (used globally on farmland, in the tropics to kill mosquitoes, etc.)

When Trumpet 3 hits Earth successively after the Trumpets 1 & 2, the current global freshwater crisis will be greatly worsened and the Bible confirms that many will die as a result of this plague.

We believe that the Trumpets will soon begin to fall, since the reign of Benedict XVI, the 7th king, has come to an end.  The shocking resignation of Benedict XVI is in perfect fulfillment of what Jesus has foretold John regarding the reign of the 7th king.  It was to be for a "short space" (Revelation 17:10).

God's Word never fails; Benedict XVI only reigned for about 8 years.  We are now living under the reign of the 8th "king" (Francis I), the last pope according to Revelation 17.

In the Bible, a trumpet blast represents a warning.  In the Book of Revelation, the Trumpets represent a dire warning from God, namely that probation for all humans is about to close.  It is through the Trumpets that God will attempt to capture the attention of humanity and turn our thoughts to the nearness of the end and the importance of accepting His final call of mercy.

Today... will you accept His loving call of mercy?  All you have to do is acknowledge your present sinful condition, and realize your great  need for Jesus.  Accept Him as the Master of your life and Saviour of the world!  The choice is yours.  God is still extending His offer of love and mercy to you right now!

“Declare ye in Judah and publish in Jerusalem; and say, Blow ye the trumpet in the land; cry, gather together, and say, Assemble yourselves, and let us go into the defenced cities. Set up the standard toward Zion; retire, stay not: for I will bring evil from the north, and great destruction.”  (Jeremiah 4:5-6)

He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning; his blood shall be upon him.  But he that taketh warning shall deliver  his soul. (Ezekiel 33:5)


Trumpet 4

Even after the inhabitants of Earth have witnessed the devastating repercussions of Trumpets 1-3, there will still be many who refuse to acknowledge that these calamities have been a divine warning.  It's interesting to note that while most religious people today believe in a personal God and recognize that He is in full control of everything that happens in the world, few draw a straight line from this belief to God's using nature to impose judgments and to send messages of warning to all of us.

Any time a connection is made between a cataclysmic event and a divine judgment or warning, many people find it offensive.  The Governor of Tokyo, Shintaro Ishihara, had to apologize for calling the recent magnitude-9 earthquake a "divine punishment" for Japanese egoism.  In the wake of the recent earthquake and tsunami in Japan, the Public Religion Research Institute conducted a survey; it was found that few believe that God punishes nations for their sins or that earthquakes, hurricanes, floods, and other natural disasters are intended to serve as signs and warning messages from our loving heavenly Father.  Most people today like to view disasters as natural events rather than supernatural warnings.  Thus, they regard the severity of recent disasters as evidence of global climate change, and not as evidence of Biblically prophesied 'end time' events.

We believe that when Trumpet 4 hits Earth, the view that most disasters are natural, rather than supernatural, will change forever.  Humanity will see these cataclysms  for what they truly are: divine interventions intended as warnings and judgments from our loving Heavenly Father.  For it will be seen clearly by all that Trumpet 4, and thus, the earlier Trumpets 1-3 were indeed solemn warnings and judgments of great importance.

Let us read what will happen when Trumpet 4 hits Earth:

And the fourth angel sounded, and a third  papartt of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and and the third part of the stars; so as the third of them were darkened, and  the day shone not a third part of it , and the night likewise. (Revelation 8:12)

Earth, sun, moon, & stars darkened When Trumpet 4 sounds, God will send His judgment upon the skies and the very lights that shine from heaven; He will strike the three natural sources of light by one third.  It will be a most fearful and terrifying event; the sun will be completely dark for 1/3 of the day, and the moon and stars will be dark for 1/3 of the night.  At this point, no one will be able to claim any more that these catastrophic phenomena are simply the consequences of global climate changes.  All will be terrified and speechless.

The following prophetic words will be literally fulfilled when Trumpet 4 is blasted:

"Therefore shall all hands be faint, and every man's heart shall melt: And they shall be afraid:  pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall  be in pain as a woman that travaileth: they shall be amazed  one at another; their faces shall be as  flames." (Isaiah 13:7-8)

There is profound symbolism in Trumpets 1-4, in that it is consistently 1/3 that is directly impacted.  This suggests that the purpose of these judgments is to warn people and give them time to repent before God's full wrath is poured out in the 7 last plagues which will hit Earth after the close of probation.

As horrifying as Trumpets 1-4 are, they are nothing compared to Trumpets 5-7.  The last 3 Trumpets are called "Woes" because their devastation is so overwhelming and indescribable.

business man deep in thought Our loving Father is seeking to give us all one final chance before probation closes.  Most people are worldly in their thinking and plans.  They are quite happy to live and die on this planet, and have relegated eternal realities to a distant priority.  This is happening while God is about to end humanity's probation; thus, the Trumpets are His last opportunity to awaken humans from their spiritual dullness and stupor.

Will you surrender your heart to God today and confess your sins?  Will you make Him Master over your heart and mind?  Our loving Father has done all that can be done to avail to us the privilege of eternal life.  However, we need to accept His offer and prepare for the life to come.  This heart and mind preparation will take time.  The sooner He can begin the process of cleansing our hearts and lives from sin and worldliness, the more certain we can be to overcome all obstacles in our heaven-ward journey.

"And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed.  The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light.  Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy.  But put on the Master Yahushua the Anointed, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts."  (Romans 13:11-14)

Trumpet 5 (1st Woe)

The Demonic Alien Invasion...

“And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets. . . . And the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake. And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.” (Revelation 8:2, 5, 6)

Angel throwing the censer to the Earth in response to the prayers of the saints The angel throwing the censer to the earth is in response to “the prayers of the saints” “that were slain for the word of God” who asked, “How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?” (Revelation 8:4; 6:9, 10)  This preliminary throwing of the censer indicates that this is the beginning of God’s vengeance on behalf of His children.  With this act, the final events commence that lead up to the close of probation when Jesus, our High Priest, will throw down His intercessory censer for the final time and God's voice will be loudly heard saying, “It is done.” (Revelation 16:17)

Trumpets 1-4 will be escalating wake-up calls.  However, Trumpets 5-7 will greatly exceed the severity of the first 4 Trumpets; this is why they are referred to as "Woes."

“And I beheld, and I heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, “Woe, woe, woe to the inhabitants of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!” (Revelation 8:13)

We have been forewarned that, in these last days, Satan will work with “all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception.” (2 Thessalonians 2:9-10)  In light of this, let’s review the description of Trumpet 5 – the 1st Woe:

And the fifth angel sounded: and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key to the bottomless pit. And he opened the bottomless pit . . .” (Revelation 9:1-2)

Trumpet 5 will commence in chronological order when the first 4 Trumpets have been completed. We expect this to take place during the early reign of pope Francis I, Revelation Seventeen's 8th "king."  The Scriptures define “the bottomless pit” as the prison house for the fallen angels:

“And they they besought Him that He would not command them to go out into the deep.” (Luke 8:31)

The word “abyss” in Luke 8:31 and the word “bottomless pit” in Revelation 9:1 and 17:8 are the same Greek word, “abussos.”  So when Satan was “given the key to the bottomless pit,” he could only release his fallen angels as would be permitted by God.  Remember, when Satan fell, 1/3 of all the angels in heaven fell with him because they believed his lies (Revelation 12:4).

“And he opened the bottomless pit, and smoke arose out of the pit like the smoke of a great furnace. So the sun and the air were darkened because of the smoke of the pit. Then out of the smoke locusts came upon the earth . . .” (Revelation 9:2-3)

This indicates that the invasion of these demons will be so great and dense that the sun and atmosphere will be globally darkened... “like the smoke of a great furnace.”  When reading the description of these “locusts,” we need to remember that, like good angels, demons (fallen angels) have the ability to take on any physical appearance they desire to accomplish their purposes:

“And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.” (2 Corinthians 11:14-15)

“The shape of the locusts was like unto horses prepared unto battle; and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and their faces were as the faces of men. And they had hair as the hair of women, and their teeth were as the teeth of lions. And they had breastplates as it were breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle.” (Revelation 9:7-9)

Hollywood Alien The appearance of these demons from the bottomless pit will resemble:

   the face of men
   hair of women
   teeth of lions
   tails of scorpions
   breastplates of iron
   They will make a great noise when they fly.

The description of these locusts is remarkably similar to the alien imagery that the unsuspecting public is being saturated with everyday.  Thus, Satan through Hollywood is conditioning the masses even more subtly than through the mainstream news media.  We must conclude that the mother of ALL of Satan's deceptions will begin with the demons of the bottomless pit taking on the form of aliens invading the Earth with the intent of harming humanity.

For thousands of years now, Satan has been preparing for this deceptive invasion by conditioning the inhabitants of Earth to accept the erroneous notion that there were other extraterrestrial fallen races and creatures in the universe.  For this reason, Satan will succeed to a large extent in shaking the religious beliefs of those who have imbibed this false teaching.  Almost the whole world will believe that we are being attacked by aliens from outer space rather than being attacked by Satan's demonic angels.

“. . . and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. . . . And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months. and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when it strikesth a man.” (Revelation 9:3, 5)

These demonic aliens will afflict humans by stinging them with their tails, and the symptoms experienced will be similar to the sting of a scorpion’s poisonous venom.  Scorpion sting symptoms may include: burning pain, a feeling of suffocation, rapid breathing, numbness, difficulty speaking and forming sentences, muscle cramping, twitching, and/or weakness.

And in those days men will seek death and shall not find it; and they shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them. . . . [The locusts] had tails like scorpions, and there were stings in their tails. Their power was to hurt men five months.” (Revelation 9:6, 10)

Hollywood Alien

Satan through Hollywood is conditioning the masses to embrace the deception.

This torment will last for 5 months (150 days).  Many will seek to end their lives rather than suffer this torment, but will be incapable of doing so.  But there is protection for those who have made God their refuge:

“They [the locusts] were commanded not to harm the grass of the earth, or any green thing, or any tree, but only those men who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads.” (Revelation 9:4)

God will restrain these demonic aliens from harming all who have His seal of protection.  This seal is given to those who are living entirely in conformity with His will.  The demonic aliens will also not harm any crops or plants.

And they had as king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in Greek tongue hath has the name Apollyon. (Revelation 9:11)

“The beast that thou sawest was, and is not: and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names are not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is. . . . And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and is going to perdition. (Revelation 17:8, 11)

Revelation 17 tells us that when the short reign of the 7th king comes to an end, it will be followed by the reign of the 8th.  He will be the last king/beast to reign.  We are seeing before our eyes, with the sudden announced resignation of Benedict XVI, the end of the 7th king's reign.  Pope Francis is Revelation's 8th "king"; he is the last pope and will go into perdition.

This 8th king will be fully controlled by Satan, and will be positioned as the only human being capable of negotiating an end of the demonic invasion of Earth.  Consequently, he will receive Satan's coveted position as "saviour of the world," giving him full authority over all the leaders of the world to implement a universal Sunday Law, to exalt the false Sabbath based on a false calendar.

We cannot overestimate the terrible suffering of Trumpets 1-4 and the dreadful torment which will be experienced in the 5th Trumpet (1st Woe). One woe is past;  and, behold, there come two woes more hereafter. (Revelation 9:12)

mother holding her daughter Today, we have the opportunity to receive the promise of God's protective seal when we choose Him to reign in our hearts.  To His true followers, God confirms time and again the following precious promises:

“Fear not, for I have redeemed thee; I have called thee by thy name; thou art Mine. When thou pass through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee. When you walkest through the fire, thou shall not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. For I am the Lord thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour . . . Since thou wast precious in My sight, thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee; therefore will I give men for thee, and people for thy life. Fear not: for I am with thee.” (Isaiah 43:1-5)

Will you choose to be sealed by God?  Will you accept His last call of mercy while it is still possible?

“Today, if you will hear His voice, Do not harden your hearts...” (Hebrews 3:7-8)


Trumpet 6 (2nd Woe)

The 60-Minutes Massacre of a Third of Humanity...

Let’s go over Trumpet 5 before delving into Trumpet 6:

In Trumpet 5 (the first woe), the world is attacked for 5 months by demons invading in the form of aliens.  Towards the close of the 5 months, the world will have been conditioned to believe that ending this dreadful alien invasion is Pope Francis I only possible by the direct intervention of the 8th "king," pope Francis I.  Francis will “negotiate” with the aliens in an effort to “end” their invasion.  They will “agree” to leave on a given day (exactly 5 months after their invasion, just as the Bible foretold in Revelation 9:5).  After the aliens end their invasion, all world leaders will hail pope Francis as saviour of the world and will gladly “give their power and authority to the beast.” (Revelation 17:13)

The 8th king, Pope Francis, will immediately and without any resistance set up the “abomination of desolation” (Daniel 12:11), which is a law-enforced global exaltation of Sunday, thus starting the 3 1/2 year-period foretold in Revelation 11:3.

“And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days [3 1/2 years], clothed in sackcloth.” (Revelation 11:3)

The 3 ½ years will start when Sunday is exalted by law soon after Trumpet 5, and it will end with the close of human probation shortly after the sounding of Trumpet 6.  This will be a period of extreme hardship for both God's people and the world.

“And there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation.” (Daniel 12:1)

God's faithful, at this time, will “prophesy” (warn of the Trumpets and plagues to come and appeal for repentance) in “sackcloth.”  (Sackcloth represents the extremely difficult conditions and persecution God's faithful will face during that time.)  Since they foretold the Trumpets, they will also be blamed for the misery resulting from the Trumpets.

The penalty for not abiding by the Sunday law will steadily escalate, making it difficult for God's followers to keep the true seventh-day Sabbath.  Consequently, many will be martyred in defense of God's true Sabbath.  There will be a lapse of several years between the end of Trumpet 5 and the beginning of Trumpet 6 for the following reasons: The 3 1/2-year period will begin after Trumpet 5 when the 8th king, Pope Francis, succeeds in enforcing universal Sunday exaltation, and it will end with close of probation just before Trumpet 7.

Trumpet 6 will happen in one hour; Trumpet 7 will “come quickly” afterwards (Revelation 11:14).  That means that there will be a lapse of about 3 ½ years between the end of Trumpet 5 and the beginning of Trumpet 6.  When trumpet 6 hits our planet, Francis I will declare that the global Sunday Law enforcement is still not gaining heaven's approval.

Now, let’s delve into Trumpet 6 (the second Woe):

And the sixth angel sounded: and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God, saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates.'” (Revelation 9:13-14)

fallen angel Who are these angels bound at the great river Euphrates?  They are not heaven’s angels because the angels of heaven are never “bound.”  We know from the study of His Word that many of the fallen angels are bound in the invisible "bottomless pit."  So we conclude from the Bible that the great river Euphrates is the prison house where commanding fallen angels are bound within the bottomless pit.

And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay a third part of men. And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them.” (Revelation 9:15-16)

The prophesied time of Trumpet 6 is very specific: In a certain hour, on a specific day, of a month in a year, one-third of the world's population will be massacred by the two-hundred million demons led by four commanding angels.  The devil will use this great army of two hundred million demons to create a universal blood bath in the space of only one hour.

In one hour the death toll will be over two billion humans.  Since the end of the 3 ½ years signals the end of probation, it is natural to conclude that God will not allow the massacre of a third of all living souls except near the very close of probation.  This is why we believe that the timing of the global massacre will occur near the end of 3 ½ -year period.

“And thus I saw the horses in the vision: them that sat on them, had breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and of brimstone: and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire,and smoke, and brimstone. By these three was a third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths. For their power is in their mouth, and in their tails; for their tails were like unto serpents, and had heads; and with them they do hurt. (Revelation 9:17-19)

The bodily form that the demonic army will have will be different than that of Trumpet 5.  These demons will appear as horsemen, they will have heads like lions, tails like serpents, and fire, smoke, and brimstone will come out of their mouth.  It is this fire, smoke and brimstone that will wipe out a third of humanity.

“But the rest of the men, which were not killed by these plagues, yet repented repent not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood, which neither can see nor hear nor walk:  Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries or of their fornication, nor of their thefts.” (Revelation 9:20-21)

Sadly, the remaining two-thirds of humanity will continue to rebel against God, despising His last call of mercy.  After enduring the six Trumpets, what stronger wake-up call can our merciful loving Father give us before probation closes?  By our reckless rebellion we will be sealing our destiny and will be doomed to be hit by Trumpet 7 (the 3rd Woe), which will be inflicted without mercy.

“The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly.” (Revelation 11:14)

To those who are faithful during this time, the promises of Psalm 46 will be fulfilled in their lives:

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah. There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High. God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early. The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: He uttered his voice, the earth melted. The Lord  of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah. Come, behold the works of God, what desolations He hath made in the earth. He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; He breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; He burneth the chariot in the fire. Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah. (See Psalm 46.)

Trumpet 7 (3rd Woe)

The Final 7 Plagues...

During the first six Trumpets, God provides everyone living with a final opportunity to accept salvation before human probation is eternally closed.  The first six Trumpets (unlike the seven last plagues) are mixed with mercy; we know this because only one-third of the targets are afflicted.

“But the rest of the men, who were not killed by these plagues, yet repented not . . .” (Revelation 9:20-21)

young people dancing - city life In an effort to awaken the world, what else could Heaven do, give, or offer that has not already been done in the eternal sacrifice of God’s only begotten Son, Jesus Christ?

“Even so, Lord God, true and righteous are thy judgments.” (Revelation 16:7)

By persistent rebellion and refusal to heed the warnings of the first six Trumpets, humanity will in effect be challenging God to close probation.

“He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.” (Revelation 22:11)

The unrepentant will be ripe to taste the undiluted seven last plagues - the 3rd and final Woe.

The second woe is past; and. behold, the third woe cometh quickly. (Revelation 11:14)

“And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of His Christ; and He shall reign forever and ever.” (Revelation 11:15)

When Trumpet 7 sounds, the kingdoms of this world become the kingdoms of Christ Jesus, indicating that the controversy between Satan and God is over and Jesus will now come to claim His own.  Yet, by comparing Trumpets, we see that each succeeding Trumpet is worse than the one before it, making Trumpet 7 the severest in magnitude.  Since Trumpet 7 is the worst in magnitude and comes just before the Second Coming; and the Seven Last Plagues are the worst in magnitude and come just before the Second Coming, we conclude that Trumpet 7 must be the Seven Last Plagues.

The following is what we have learned about the seven last plagues from the Bible:

   ... which is poured out after probation closes; this is why they are without mercy.  “. . . for in them is filled up the wrath of God.” (Revelation 15:1)  “. . . the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of His indignation.” (Revelation 14:10)

   They will start and finish quickly.  From Daniel and Revelation we learn that from the end of  Trumpets 5 till the blasting of Trumpet 7 there will be a period of about 3 ½ years.  However, the duration of the seven last plagues will be only thirty days (Daniel 12:11), in line with the divine description of pouring them out of vials (Revelation 15:7).  For more information: Interpretation of Daniel 11:31-45; 12:1-13

   They will not be universal, or else all the remaining wicked would be dead before the Second Coming.  However, the first six Trumpets will pale in comparison to the severity of these plagues.

   The living righteous (144,000 in number) will also experience the plagues.  “They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat.” (Revelation 7:16)  However, while the wicked are dying from hunger and pestilence, angels will shield the 144,000 and supply their needs.  He that “walketh righteously” is the promise, “Bread shall be given him; his waters shall be sure.” (Isaiah 33:15-16)

The watching universe will testify to the justice of God in pouring out the seven last plagues.

“Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments.” (Revelation 16:7)

The unfallen universe will witness that even while the seven last plagues are being poured out on the wicked, their hearts are more hardened than ever.

“And men were scorched with great heat, and they blasphemed the name of God which  hath power over these plagues and they repented not to give Him glory.” (Revelation 16:9)

Many of the righteous living (144,000) will be in prison cells or hiding in solitary retreats, all pleading for divine protection in the face of a universal death decree against them.  The wicked are convinced by the Beast and the false shepherds that the refusal of the righteous to honor Rome's false day of worship has caused the Trumpets and the plagues.  It will be urged by Rome and her allies that the only way to regain Heaven's favor is by getting rid of the 144,000 in one fatal swoop.

The trial that will be endured by the 144,000 in this time of affliction and distress has been described as “the time of Jacob's trouble.” (Jeremiah 30:5-7)  No description can adequately illustrate the magnitude of what the 144,000 will endure alone without the intercession of Jesus in the Heavenly sanctuary.  It will be of the same nature but not magnitude that Jesus experienced on the cross when His Father’s face was hid from Him.

The righteous will be denied the right of buying and selling prior to the pouring out of the 7 last plagues.

“And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.” (Revelation 13:17)

Their refusal to honor Rome's false day of worship, and their refusal to dishonor God's  holy days will earn them the enmity of the world, which will impose on them the 'no buy and no sell' order.  This is the price that the righteous will pay for not accepting the “mark of the beast.”  However, God will take revenge for this action taken against His people, and will bring all global trade to a standstill during the 7 last plagues:

“And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her, for no man buyeth their merchandise anymore. . .” (Revelation 18:11)

During the thirty days of plagues, sinners will wake up gradually to the crude reality that the righteous are being cared for supernaturally.  It will suddenly dawn on them that they have indeed been tricked and deceived by Rome and her allies, who promised them restoration of prosperity and divine favor if the world would get rid of those who are refusing to honor Rome's false calendar and false day of worship.  The hope of worldly gains and material prosperity for which they sacrificed everything to secure are now seen in its true light and worth.

The despair and anguish which will engulf the wicked at that time has been vividly described:

“The sword is without, and the pestilence and famine within: he that  is in the field shall die with the sword; and he that  is in the city, famine and pestilence shall devour him. But they that escape of them shall escape and shall be on the mountains like doves of the valleys, all of them mourning, every one for his iniquity. All  hands shall be feeble, and all knees shall be as weak as water. They shall also gird themselves with sackcloth and horror shall cover them; and shame shall be on all faces,and  baldness upon all their heads. They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be removed; their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the Lord ; they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels, because it is the stumbling block of their iniquity.” (Ezekiel 7:15-19)

The 3 1/2 day deadline, which the wicked will give the 144,000 to submit and give up allegiance to God's true seventh-day Sabbath, will take place towards the end of 30 day period ordained for the pouring out of the 7 last plagues.  By the 30th day, the first 6 plagues will have been poured out on the world, and the wicked are now ready to enforce the universal death decree on the 144,000.  At the very moment in which the wicked are eagerly awaiting to pounce on the 144,000, the voice of God, like the sound of many waters, will descend like thunder on the wicked saying:

“It is done.” (Revelation 16:17)

destroyed city God's voice will not only shake the heavens and the earth, but will also trigger the mighty earthquake of the 7th plague, such “a mighty and great earthquake as had not occurred since men were on the earth” (Revelation 16:18).  This earthquake will level ALL man-made structures in all cities of the world.

After the 7th last plague - that mighty earthquake which will be triggered by God's voice delivering the 144,000 saints from the hands of the wicked - a period of 45 days will commence which will end with the Second Coming of Jesus.  During this final period of Earth's history, the saints will be glorified when God will compel the wicked to . . .

“come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved you.” (Revelation 3:9)

The world leaders (represented by the 10 kings) who were deceived into surrendering “their power and authority” (Revelation 17:13) to the beast power, will now direct their anger and power at the . . .

“beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh and burn her with fire. For God hah  put  in their hearts to fulfill His will, and to  agree, and  give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.” (Revelation 17:16-17)

We believe that at any moment Trumpet 1 will blast and will be followed by the next four Trumpets in rapid succession - because we are now living under the last pope, Revelation Seventeen's 8th "king."

The sole purpose of the Trumpets is to grant humanity a final wake-up call before God withdraws His Spirit completely from Earth and seals the destiny of every living soul.  The world is on the verge of witnessing unprecedented cataclysmic events, through which God will arrest the attention of all people.

“For the great day of His wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?” (Revelation 6:17)

Today, while our great High Priest is making atonement for us, it is our opportunity to wash our robes and make them white in the blood of the Lamb that we may separate from sin through faith in the atoning blood of Jesus.  The precious Saviour invites you to join Him, to unite your weakness to His strength, your ignorance to His wisdom, your unworthiness to His merits.  Glorious will be the deliverance of those who have patiently waited for His coming and whose names are written in the Book of Life.

“For in the time of trouble He shall hide me His pavilion in the secret of His tabernacle shall he hide me; He shall set me high upon a rock.” (Psalms 27:5)

“He will swallow up death in victory, and the Lord God will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of His people shall be taken away from off all the earth: for the Lord hath  spoken it. And it shall be said in that day, Lo this is our God; we have waited for Him, and He will save us: this is the Lord; we have waited for Him; we will be glad and rejoice in His salvation. (Isaiah 25:8-9)

“Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book. . . . Blessed are they that do His commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.” (Revelation 22:7, 14)
