ISIS PREPARING TO INVADE SAUDI ARABIA

(TheAntiMedia) On Thursday, Islamic State leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi allegedly gave a speech where he strongly suggested that supporters of the Islamic State attack the government of Saudi Arabia.

At face value this seems like a noble goal, considering Saudi Arabia’s horrid record of civil rights abuses, but supporters of the Islamic State have been known to hurt and kill innocent people in their battles against tyrannical governments.

Saudi Arabia is certainly among the most oppressive governments on the face of the earth, and one of the worst in the Middle East as well, however, they are close allies with the United States government so they have remained protected for the past several decades as western powers have pillaged the entire region.

Some reports this week have indicated that ISIS soldiers are already amassing on the borders of Saudi Arabia, preparing to invade as they have in other neighboring countries.

Following the recent Islamic State speech, the Saudi King put his military on “high-alert”, and released a statement saying that “Concerned for the Kingdom’s national security against any measures that terrorist organizations or any other groups might resort to, that could destabilize security of the homeland, he (the king) has ordered all necessary measures to protect the gains of the homeland and its stability, and the security of the Saudi people.”

Military leaders in the US also spoke on the issue, pointing out how quickly the Islamic State has grown in such a short amount of time.

“Clearly the brutality, the rhetoric, the efforts to incite, by any leaders of ISIL … is not a new phenomenon. It certainly is a reminder to everyone in the region and around the world of what their intentions are,” State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki said in a statement.

Their intentions are to become the area’s government, as is suggested by their name, and the alleged speech from Baghdadi. In the speech, Baghdadi was quoted as saying that the Islamic State has expanded their territory into multiple new countries.

“We announce to you the expansion of the Islamic State to new countries, to the countries of the Haramayn, Yemen, Egypt, Libya, Algeria,” Baghdadi reportedly said in the speech.

As we also reported today, the Islamic State has recently announced that they will soon be minting their own currency that will be backed by precious metals. This new currency is just one of many signs that the Islamic State is taking on more roles that people traditionally associate with the government.
