Agenda 21 Taking Root in Virginia

Agenda 21Virginia was the fifth commonwealth state to be added to the Union.

It’s a well known seat of agriculture within the United States, and if liberals are to have their way, it’s also going to be one of the first states to fully implement Agenda 21 into their land management procedures.

Terry McAuliffe, who once served as Hillary Clinton’s campaign manager, is the president of the DNC and the newly elected Governor of Virginia. And he is interested in helping to establish the UN’s Agenda 21 in Virginia.

As part of his “Agriculture Resource Management Plan” (ARMP), the governor is looking for “voluntary” commitment on the part of farmers so they would be among the forefront of agricultural stewards helping to take care of the earth.

The ARMP “encourages farmers to increase their use of conservation best management practices while providing the community ‘quantifiable credit’ and ‘better tracking’ of the programs that farmers already have in place. The program will ensure that farmers will be ‘good stewards’ of our ‘precious natural resources’.”

There’s no doubt that maintaining the earth is an important step to take in helping to create a free society. Rampant pollution and unchecked privilege on the part of corporations are no friend to the earth or its inhabitants.

However, whenever these kinds of changes happen at the behest of the government, the utopia being imagined is always far more dystopian than it might seem.

Of course, this “voluntary” ARMP will of course be “voluntary” only when farmers have complied with the demands of the ARMP guidelines.

Farmers will need to work with a “Private sector ARMP Developer” to ensure they’re compliant. The farmers will of course need to set up plans which “incorporate the property’s current stream buffer, soil conservation, nutrient management and stream exclusion practices, and recommend other practices needed.”

In what world is this voluntary?

As Freedom Outpost noted, “Once the plan is approved and implemented, the property will be considered to be ‘in compliance’ with state nutrient and sediment water quality standards. Thus, Virginia will become the first state in the Chesapeake Bay region with an ‘agricultural certainty program.’”

Bear in mind Agenda 21 is not just for the U.S.; it applies to the whole world as the corporatists seek to establish a new world order. Indeed, it is a massive global initiative.

It’s already happening in China where the Chinese government has moved a quarter million people from rural farmlands into densely populated urban areas.

It won’t be long until it happens here as well.
