Trump to give Putin Ultimatum at G-20 Summit - back down remove Assad or face war, at least that is what it appears to be by the US Troop movement in Syria up to 9 US basis have been established in a sovereign nation without consent with the government and a nation that the US supposedly is not at war with. President Putin doesn't appear to be taken these threats lightly either, he has sought Parliamentary approval to move in war planes to be based in Syria. Where does President Assad fit into all this, your guess is as good as any I suppose.
