StemExpress CEO Laughs About Lab ‘Freaking Out’ Over Receiving ‘Intact’ Dead Baby Shipments

After a California court denied a preliminary injunction on Friday against the release of undercover video footage featuring executives of StemExpress, a fetal tissue company that does business with the abortion giant Planned Parenthood, the Center for Medical Progress released the transcript of a forthcoming video with the company CEO.

In the text released, CEO Cate Dyer acknowledges that sometimes the company receives fully intact bodies of aborted babies from the nearly 100 abortion facilities with which they work.

“If you had intact cases, which we’ve done a lot, we sometimes ship those back to our lab in its entirety,” she states.

Dyer also discusses how some researchers express shock and unease when they open a package and find a whole baby looking back at them.


“As you probably know, one of the issues with neural tissue, it’s so fragile. It’s insanely fragile,” she says. “I know we get requests for neural, it’s the hardest thing in the world to ship.”

“You do it as the whole calvarium (head),” the undercover investigator filming the encounter states.

“Yeah, that’s the easiest way. And we’ve actually had good success with that,” Dyer replies.

“Make sure the eyes are closed!” the investigator quips.

“Yeah!” Dyer responds, laughing. “Tell the lab it’s coming!”

She continues to laugh as she imitates their reaction.

“They’ll open the box, go, ‘Oh G*d!’” Dyer exclaims.

When the undercover investigator asks why come lab techs respond in such manner, Dyer explains that they would rather not realize the reality of the situation in seeing the body parts as a whole.

“It’s almost like they don’t want to know where it comes from,” she outlines. “Where they’re like, ‘We need limbs, but no hands and feet need to be attached.’ … Or they want long bones, and they want you to take it all off, like, make it so that we don’t know what it is.”

Dyer also agrees that the company has a good working relationship with Planned Parenthood.

“Do you feel that support from Cecile [Richards] and from Deborah [Nucatola]?” the investigator asks.

“Yeah, oh yeah. You know, everyone at PPFA,” Dyer replies. “I just think that you’re in the cause or you’re not. If you’re not in the cause, they don’t need you around. They need champions and if you’re not a champion, then you should go. The clinics are very guarded, as they should be. Who do they let in their house? They let champions in their house. Right?”

The Center for Medical Progress plans to release the video in the days ahead.
