New: Recent daytime UFO sighting documented in London, England

According to information made available on Sunday, April 3, 2011, a UFO sighting took place in London, England recently. A family from the Netherlands was visiting London when they spotted an unidentified flying object in the sky for approximately 30 minutes.

Fortunately, they were able to capture the UFO sighting on video using a Sony DV digital Handycam, 120x digital zoom: DCR-TRV24E. The UFO was seen in the area of Big Ben; the cameraman is recording the video while standing with his back to the clock tower.

The video shows a clear blue sky over London, England. A small white unidentified flying object is seen hovering high above a building.

Upon first glance, the UFO looks almost like a cloud or parachute, but it quickly begins to change shape. In the first few moments of the video, a second smaller UFO appears.

The video doesn't last long, only 2:34, and much of the video is fuzzy and unclear. However, the video does not appear to show any recognizable object as the UFO's movements seem inconsistent with any of the things normally found in the sky--airplanes, birds, helicopters, clouds, etc.

The audio track for this video is mostly ambient street noise and voices in the background. You can watch the video with the audio turned off to prevent distractions. You can also watch the video in full-screen format, although that will not improve the quality or clarity of the video.

What's behind the constantly increasing number of UFO sightings caught on video? The availability and affordability of portable digital cameras has no doubt contributed to the number of sightings caught on film while the glut of UFO and alien-themed movies like "Paul" and "Battle: Los Angeles" grabs the attention and imagination of the general public.
